CBS 8 and Susan G. Komen for the Cure thank the thousands of San Diegans and visitors who joined News 8's Barbara-Lee Edwards & Matt Baylow on an amazing journey to help end breast cancer.
Through your efforts, 6.5 million dollars raised for breast cancer research, education, screening and treatment.

We laughed, we cried and together we made the commitment to create a world without breast cancer.

Here's a look back at our San Diego journey.

3-Day/Day 3: The emotional finale More than 2500 walkers celebrated Sunday after completing the Susan G. Komen 3-Day.	3-Day/Day 2: Clear skies and rainbows It was day two of the Susan G. Komen 3-Day Walk. Thousands of walkers hit the streets for another 20 miles Saturday.
3-Day/Day 1: Feet and spirits both up Day one of the Susan G. Komen 3-Day walk is just wrapping up, after an early start Friday morning in Del Mar.	3-Day/Day 1: The walk begins Day one of the Susan G Komen 3-Day walk is underway. The 60 mile journey kicked off early Friday morning.
