Zooey Deschanel may voice a cute little troll in the animated film Trolls, but the actress' favorite role is that of mom. The New Girl star is mom to 15-month-old Elsie.
"She is really special. She's saying some words – hat – she says a lot of words, but she's really obsessed with hats right now," Deschanel told Ellen DeGeneres on Monday's episode.

"She rips them off, but they're so cute. She likes wearing little bows and stuff in her hair," Deschanel revealed.
She's also likely to be a fan of her mom's newest film, Trolls, which also co-stars Justin Timberlake.
"He came in and he blew me away," she told DeGeneres about meeting Timberlake 10 years ago at a screen test. "He was such a good actor, and I was like, 'Come on!'"
Deschanel mirrored the sentiment to ET's Cameron Mathison at Sunday's Los Angeles premiere of the film.

"I didn't get to ever see Anna [Kendrick]. We recorded all our stuff separately, but obviously she is an amazing talented human being and I was excited to be in a movie with her," she told ET. "And in the end it really seemed like we were interacting. But Justin, I got to work with him on the music because he was producing all the music so that was a really great experience. It's so good."
