WILL BRING BACK THE HUANG'S BELOVED SON, ZHI WEI.
Nat more crying
HIS PARENTS MISS HIM EVERY SECOND-
21:47 "every moment, every minute."
OF EVERYDAY.
THROUGH A TRANSLATOR-
THE HUANG'S ARE SPEAKING FOR THE FIRST TIME ABOUT THEIR SON.
22:30 "he delivered the chinese food to the westchase apartments."
AND THE NIGHT HE WAS MURDERED.
JUNE 28TH-
ZHI WEI'S FAMILY TELLS US HE DELIVERED FOOD FROM THE FAMILY'S CHINESE RESTAURANT TO THE LEONARD'S,
WHO THEY SAY WERE REGULAR CUSTOMERS.
Nat
RIGHT AFTER HE DELIVERED THE DINNER-
POLICE REPORT THE 23 YEAR-OLD WAS GUNNED DOWN.
22:43 "one step away, he was shot"
THE FAMILY SAYS AN OFFICER AT THE SCENE RECOGNIZED ZHI WEI FROM EATING AT THEIR FOWLER STREET RESTAURANT.
23:17 "she rushed in our restaurant to inform us the news that zhi wei was shot."
HIS PARENTS HAD TO IDENTIFY THEIR SON'S BODY ONCE THEY GOT TO THE HOSPITAL.
23:31 "we didn't believe at that moment."
THROUGH THEIR INVESTIGATION,
FORT MYERS POLICE ARRESTED 2 TEENS-
EDDIE LEONARD AND DEJERION STEWART FOR THE DELIVERYMAN'S MURDER.
IT WAS LEONARD'S APARTMENT THAT ZHI WEI HAD JUST DELIVERED FOOD TO.
BUT LATE LAST WEEK-
A GRAND JURY DECIDED THERE WASN'T ENOUGH EVIDENCE TO FILE CHARGES AGAINST THE TEENS.
24:47 "they have to be responsible for what they've done."
OFFICERS WILL CONTINUE TO INVESTIGATE-
JUST TODAY, WE WITNESSED A DIVE TEAM, SEARCHING THE POND BEHIND THE SCENE OF THE CRIME.

HOPE FOR THE HUANGS-
THAT THE PEOPLE RESPONSIBLE WILL BE ARRESTED.

BECAUSE THE TEENS ARE UNDERAGE, NO ONE WILL TELL US IF THEY'VE BEEN RELEASED FROM CUSTODY - BUT A NEIGHBOR OF STEWART'S TELLS ME SHE SAW HIM JUST THIS MORNING.

A DECISION ON THE DEATH PENALTY WILL TAKE MUCH LONGER. AFTER DISCUSSIONS WITH SURVIVORS AND FAMILIES OF THE VICTIMS.
"If the death penalty is sought that's a very long process that will impact their life for years, so we would want to get their input before we make any sort of decision on that."
PROSECUTORS STRESS THIS IS STILL A VERY ACTIVE. ON-GOING INVESTIGATION.

"We don't sweep things under the rug, we investigate appropriately when things come to our attention."
LAST YEAR F-G-C-U MOVED UP TO DIVISION ONE STATUS. MEANING THEY PLAY BY THE SAME SET OF RULES AS PENN STATE.
N-C-A-A CORE VALUES REQUIRE "THE HIGHEST LEVELS OF INTEGRITY AND SPORTSMANSHIP."
"The biggest controversy surrounding FGCU athletics happened four years ago. Two coaches filed discrimination lawsuits. No evidence of gender bias was found on campus, and FGCU settled out of court for 3.4 million. Today's penalty for Penn State begs the question, when will the NCAA step in?"
"No I don't think they're going to intervene in all court cases but I think everyone would have to agree that this was really exceptional."
THE N-C-A-A OVERSEES 15 F-G-C-U SPORTS. FOOTBALL ISN'T ONE OF THEM.
TOMORROW PRESIDENT BRADSHAW WILL MEET WITH OTHER TOP ADMINISTRATORS ON CAMPUS. SPECIFICALLY TO TALK ABOUT LESSONS THEY CAN LEARN FROM PENN STATE.

THIS WEATHERCAST HAS BEEN PREPARED BY THE NBC2 WEATHER STAFF.
IT IS NOT A VERBATIM OF WHAT IS BEING SAID, BUT IS THE FORECAST FOR OUR AREA.
DRIER WEATHER COMING
An abundance of tropical moisture which arrived over the weekend and hung on today will gradually give way to some drier air by Wednesday. For the balance of this evening I expect a few more downpours and thunderstorms to wash in from the Gulf of Mexico on the southwest wind we have in place. It looks reasonable to expect passing showers or a storm through midnight. Temperatures will not drop off too much tonight and we will stay in the upper 70's by tomorrow morning with high humidity.
The forecast for tomorrow calls for a few showers in the morning and midday with gradually improving weather by late day. Our high temperatures will hit the low 90's tomorrow afternoon as more sunshine prevails. It's possible that a few inland thunderstorms will pop up on Tuesday afternoon and drift inland toward Lake Okeechobee.
On Wednesday, Thursday and Friday I expect hot weather and mainly quiet afternoons. The chance for a thunderstorm will drop to 20% or less for these days. High temperatures for the week will continue to climb into the lower 90's and hit the middle 90's by the end of the week.

THE BOARD SAW FIGURES OF 64-THOUSAND IN A MORGAN STANLEY ACCOUNT.
SUBPOENAS SHOWED THAT FIGURE WAS REALLY 33 DOLLARS.
AND THE MATH STILL DIDN'T ADD UP IN MARCH 20-11.
BRUSIT REPORTED THE NON-PROFIT HAD 13-THOUSAND IN A FLORIDA SHORES ACCOUNT.
INSTEAD - WE'RE LEARNING THE GROUP ACTUALLY *OWED 99-THOUSAND DOLLARS.
AS FOR WHERE THE MONEY WENT -
"we know that they were used to fund an extravagant lifestyle that included some international travel."
THE C-F-O'S OFFICE SAYS DOCUMENTS ALSO SHOW BRUIST USED THE NON-PROFIT'S MONEY TO PAY FOR ACCESS TO THE EXCLUSIVE USEPPA ISLAND CLUB - AND TO THE CAPE HARBOUR MARINA.
IF CONVICTED - BRUIST COULD BE SENTENCED TO 95 YEARS IN PRISON, 2 MILLION IN FINES, AND BE FORCED TO REPAY THE VICTIMS.
