Forecast models continue to strengthen the system Thursday and Friday, and it could potentially develop into a Category 1 hurricane by then. The system's interaction with Cuba and Hispaniola will be critical in determining its strength, and just a change of 50 miles could make all the difference. It's just too early to resolve the finer details at this point.
The bottom line is T.D. Nine will be a storm to watch closely for anyone in South Florida, and IF this storm were to affect our weather, it would most likely be early next week around Monday or Tuesday.
