Our weather pattern will remain unchanged for Thursday, as high pressure remains to our north and east. Winds will remain breezy at times today with gusts approaching 20 mph.
A bit more cloudiness will be mixing in with some sunshine through the afternoon hours with a few hit or miss downpours late in the day and early evening hours, especially closer to the coast. Highs tomorrow will climb to near normal values in the lower 90s.
Not much change is in the forecast as we round out the work week, with the better chance for a showers during the afternoon.
More moisture will work its way in across the area by the beginning of next week, with more clouds and a change in our steering winds. This means we could see an early start to our shower and thunderstorm pattern by Monday and Tuesday.
In the tropics, things are quiet close to home. We are tracking Tropical Storm Nadine out in the Atlantic, which could become a hurricane within the next day or two. However, this will not be a threat to Southwest Florida or the eastern seaboard of the United States as this storm will eventually take a path off to the north and recurve out to sea.

Our weather pattern will remain unchanged for Thursday, as high pressure remains to our north and east. Winds will remain breezy at times today with gusts approaching 20 mph.
A bit more cloudiness will be mixing in with some sunshine through the afternoon hours with a few hit or miss downpours late in the day and early evening hours, especially closer to the coast. Highs tomorrow will climb to near normal values in the lower 90s.
Not much change is in the forecast as we round out the work week, with the better chance for a showers during the afternoon.
More moisture will work its way in across the area by the beginning of next week, with more clouds and a change in our steering winds. This means we could see an early start to our shower and thunderstorm pattern by Monday and Tuesday.
In the tropics, things are quiet close to home. We are tracking Tropical Storm Nadine out in the Atlantic, which could become a hurricane within the next day or two. However, this will not be a threat to Southwest Florida or the eastern seaboard of the United States as this storm will eventually take a path off to the north and recurve out to sea.
