IT WAS RIGHT AROUND 6:30, WHEN MANCE SHINE GOT A CALL FROM HIS WIFE.

THERE WAS AN EXPLOSION AT WORK SHE SAID.

AND EVERYONE HERE AT PALL CORPORATION WAS BEING EVACUATED.

MANCE "Explosion was so bad it went through the back wall damaged some of the cars behind the building, imagine if someone was standing close to that, someone would have got hurt."

ABOUT 100 PEOPLE WERE AT WORK AT THE TIME.

FORT MYERS FIRE DEPARTMENT SAYS FIVE PEOPLE HAD MINOR INJURIES.

FIRE OFFICIALS SAY WHILE A SECTION OF THE BUILDING IS DESTROYED, THE MAJORITY OF IT WASN'T DAMAGED.

"More sunshine, afternoon showers"

A bit more sunshine filled our skies throughout the morning hours, and we'll continue to see partly sunny conditions for the remainder of our Friday. Highs today will climb into the lower 90s, along with a breezy east to northeasterly wind that will set up across the Peninsula. This will drag a few showers across the state and into our own backyards during the afternoon and early evening hours. Shortly thereafter, our skies will go quiet and clearing conditions will take place overnight as lows dip into the mid 70s for most.

The weekend is looking pretty good with more sunshine in the morning and your typical hit or miss afternoon showers and storms.

Early next week, moisture will increase across Southwest Florida with more clouds than sun in the forecast. As our wind flow becomes more onshore off the Gulf of Mexico, showers and storms will be possible during the morning and afternoon hours. Due to the extra cloud cover and rain, temperatures will be held down a bit into the upper 80s.

"I just decided a sculpture would be a living breathing thing to keep on going."

Barbara Solomon became very concerned about some of her aging trees after seeing the devastation caused by last year's October snowstorm. So instead of taking any more chances with two trees in her front yard- the former art teacher decided to turn them into sculptures.

"After seeing all of the trouble around here and I had other trees that were leaning in the back. They cut down trees in the back as well as in the front here."

From there- she hired Kris Connors of Custom Wood Carvings & More out of Clinton to transform the trees. Ninety percent of the work was done with a chainsaw. He used smaller power tools for the rest- and finished them with a wood preservative. This is far from his only job- as he says his business has picked up since that snowstorm hit.

"Sometimes they have this gorgeous tree and they don't want to just get rid of it. It's been there for generations and this is the way they can preserve the tree and still have something that is beautiful in their yard."

The cost for something like this varies depending on how sophisticated the design is, how tall it is, and other factors. These cost about $900 each.

It's a crafty solution to a potentially big problem- artwork that's left this homeowner no longer worrying about what damage future storms will bring.

Starting off our list is a registered sex offender who's gone completely off the radar, and needs to be reeled back in before he commits yet another crime. Tyrone Campbell has been on the run for just about a month now, after failing to comply with the terms of his sex offender status. Convicted of that charge back in 1993 for two counts of the lewd and lascivious molestation of a child, Campbell has continued on a destructive path of crime and chaos, with 11 arrests in Lee County and several additional in Collier. He's also been sent to state prison five times, for a grand total of about 11 years. Among his dirty deeds are charges of battery, multiple counts of aggravated assault, drugs, grand theft auto, burglary and parole violations. Born and raised in Fort Myers, Campbell was last known to be living in Lehigh.

Also trying to lay low from the law is Jontavious Griffin, wanted for violating his probation after arrests for the possession of cocaine and marijuana. This 23 year old registered convicted felon started racking up criminal charges when he was just a teenager, only to continue down that crooked path as an adult, with 11 additional arrests on his rap sheet. Of those violations, nearly every one has been for drug dealing and related malfunctions. Griffin is another Fort Myers native, who is likely to be seeking refuge in either Dunbar or Tice. Upon his arrest, Griffin will be held without bond.

And on the run in Collier County is 20 year old Kendrick Perry, wanted for violation of probation following an arrest for unarmed robbery. Perry was born and raised in Naples, but has floated back and forth between there and Lehigh. Despite his young age, he's already a registered convicted felon, with previous arrests in Collier for armed robbery, grand theft auto, battery, resisting arrest, loitering and prowling, and trespassing on school grounds. Detectives think in order to avoid going back to jail, he's moving around frequently, but all we need is that one tip to track him down. Perry is 5'7", 165 pounds and has several tattoos, including his mom's name, Patsy, on his right arm, and the names Toria on his left arm and Kieayla Kendrick on his chest.

A bit more sunshine filled our skies throughout the morning hours, and we'll continue to see partly sunny conditions for the remainder of our Friday. Highs today will climb into the lower 90s, along with a breezy east to northeasterly wind that will set up across the Peninsula. This will drag a few showers across the state and into our own backyards during the afternoon and early evening hours. Shortly thereafter, our skies will go quiet and clearing conditions will take place overnight as lows dip into the mid 70s for most.

The weekend is looking pretty good with more sunshine in the morning and your typical hit or miss afternoon showers and storms.

Early next week, moisture will increase across Southwest Florida with more clouds than sun in the forecast. As our wind flow becomes more onshore off the Gulf of Mexico, showers and storms will be possible during the morning and afternoon hours.
