You might say the suspect froze when the stores owner came at him with a couple cans of natty ice. the would be robbers' knife was no match for a few cans of these suds.
I was really. I cried because they're such wonderful people.
Regulars came in this morning to check on store owner Dilip Patel but they had nothing to worry about. As surveillance video demonstrates, turns out Patel, who does not play beer pong, is very good at beer toss.He pulled apart a 4 pack and used them as weapons against a would be knife toting thief.
So you hit him with the cans. Yes so maybe he can be scared and run away. You scared him. Yea.
The suspect burst in just before 7 last night. His shirt over his face.threatening with a pocket knife. He tried to open one register. Successfully got into a second one and scooped up a handful of cash. That's when Patel buzzed him with the brew. 3 of 4 cans hit their target. The suspect dropped the knife, the money and ran. Customers think it's awesome that Patel really gave the suspect. A few rounds on the house.
that would be him. that would be him. he's so great. he is so great.

The suspect ultimately got away, running between cars acrose busy U-S 1 but police have his knife and possible DNA and they're hoping someone may even recognize his stature from the video. In Port Orange, Volusia County, Claire Metz WESH 2 News.

PIERCE TUMPEY LOVES BUBBLES, BELLS, AND BREASTMILK.
"I have to say though that breastfeeding was one of the most difficult things I've ever done."
HIS WORKING MOM, ABBIGAIL, SAYS IT WASN'T EASY AT FIRST, BUT NEW SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH SHOWS IT'S EVEN BETTER FOR BABIES THAN PREVIOUSLY SUSPECTED.
"The science that we have now is really, it's so compelling and so irrefutable."
THE CDC SAYS BREASTFED BABIES ARE 250% LESS LIKELY TO BE HOSPITALIZED WITH SEVERE RESPIRATORY INFECTIONS, 56% LESS LIKELY TO SUFFER FROM SIDS AND 32% LESS LIKELY TO BE OBESE LATER IN LIFE.
"The way that works is most likely because of the way that the breast milk acts in the gastrointestinal system, in the gut. Turns out that actually the vast majority of your immune system develops from your gut."
PIERCE ISN'T THE ONLY BABY DRINKING ABBY'S BREASTMILK. SHE'S PART OF A GROWING TREND: DONATING TO MILK BANKS.
"Well after my son got to be about 7 months old, I looked in the freezer and there was about 1000 ounces of breast milk in there and my first reaction was who in the world would want my breast milk?!"
ABBY DONATED MORE THAN 600 OUNCES TO A PROGRAM. THEY PASTEURIZE, SCREEN, TEST THE MILK; THEN SEND IT TO SICK BABIES.
THERE'S ALSO GROWTH IN LESS OFFICIAL MILK SHARING SITES.
SINCE THE INFORMAL GROUP DOESN'T GO THROUGH RIGOROUS MEDICAL TESTING, THE NATIONAL SITE SAYS THEY RESPECT THE RIGHT OF FAMILIES TO MAKE INFORMED CHOICES ABOUT RISKS.
MILK FROM ANOTHER MOTHER. IT'S A DECISION HAPPENING MORE AND MORE AS MILK BANKS EXPAND.
"Once you become a mom, your pride is really in your children. And there's very little that you personally can do to be proud of yourself and this was one of those moments."

THIS WEATHERCAST HAS BEEN PREPARED BY THE NBC2 WEATHER STAFF.
IT IS NOT A VERBATIM OF WHAT IS BEING SAID, BUT IS THE FORECAST FOR OUR AREA.
SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS EACH AFTERNOON
What's on the docket for the next several days? Easy, lots of clouds and a few thunderstorms each day.
We've already seen a large amount of clouds the past several daysb - will we see blue skies and sunshine? Sure, but overall the clouds will win, and they will be slow to erode. There's a weak front just to our north. It's slowly drifting south, and it's causing our winds to be from the southwest.
This time of the year that means the sky is peppered with numerous clouds.
That front will wash out later tonight. That's good news for us because it means our weather will begin to improve - it'll just take a few days.
Tomorrow will be partly cloudy with storms popping up just after the noon hour and pushing inland.
This weekend will be slightly wet because the sea breeze will be pinned along the coastline and urban corridor. Plan your weekend around the afternoon and early evening storms!
There's nothing of interest in the tropics right now.
Oh, and by the way - fall begins at 10:49 AM on Saturday!

LADIES.IS YOUR MAN EMOTIONALLY UNAVAILABLE?

IF YOUR MAN USED ONE- CHANCES ARE HIS EMOTIONAL DEVELOPMENT MAY HAVE BEEN STUNTED.
BUT GET THIS- THE NEW STUDY RELEASING THESE FINDINGS TODAY- SAYS WOMEN ARE UNAFFECTED.

It's a noise no parent wants to hear.
Nat crying.
But one solution- may be stunting emotional growth.
Sot Susie Howard.
" my daughter had them, many for sleeping, or for car riding because if the car stopped it was a scream fest in the back seat."
But Susie Howard doesn't have to worry about her daughters pacifier use.
The reason?
Her gender.
Researchers at the university of Wisconsin Madison studied pacifier use of 700 people over 4 years.
with children they found-
Sot phoner
The longer the boys use a pacifier the less facial mimicry we saw."
As for the college aged adults-
Sot phoner
"the longer males used pacifiers the lower their score, so these a correlation on their ability to take the perception of somebody else."
Emotional consequences that were not found To affect girls.
The Findings that arent surprising to dr. Omar Rieche.
Sot dr. Omar rieche, lee memorial
We know that boys and girls brains develop at different rates depending on gender, there may be structural differences that are very subtle."
The study notes it's possible girls make sufficient emotional development before pacifier use, And that a pacifier may not stop them from expressing their feelings because it is a more accepted social norm.
So what should parents do?
Sot Omar
"the best rule is just be moderate, use moderation."
Sot phoner
" there'd is a difference between helping a child calm down when they're worked up or helping a child fall asleep or putting a pacifier in their mouth so they don't bug you."
Advice this mom- and teachers at Princeton academy are already putting to use.
Sot Susie
"at a young age they a developing their language they are starting their articulatin skills and when you have something suck in your mouth it's hard to speak."

EVEN THOUGH THE STUDY ONLY NOTES PACIFIERS-
THUMB SUCKING COULD ALSO CAUSE THIS PROBLEM.
