he's fort myers' latest murder victim.
19 year-old jamaris williams was shot and killed last night on davis court in dunbar.
two other teens- paul baldwin and tommy williams were also hit, but are expected to be ok.
15:41 deloria "we're not doing well at all- this is a cycle for us. it's getting worse and worse."
the 3 teens are all part of the group-
lake boys, accodring to family members.
their videos show guns and use explicit lyrics as they rap about violence and other topics.
paul baldwin's mother says the group is not a gang-
but fears it's being portrayed badly and possibly leading to this shooting.
deloria 16:11 "those videos are not gang-related- those videos are videos of these young people trying to support their family and get something done."
damaris williams' cousin says the teen was just trying to make something of himself.
29:49 tony "he's a good person- that's all i can say. i'm sad to see a man just taken off this earth for no reason."
chief doug baker says this shooting had nothing to do with the videos-
and that evidence points to another motive, which he won't discuss.
baker tells us community cooperation is still one of their biggest hurdles in cracking all these murders.
32:15 baker "if the witnesses would come forward that i have spoken to that wish to remain anonomyous, i could clear half our homicides this afternoon."

THIS WEATHERCAST HAS BEEN PREPARED BY THE NBC2 WEATHER STAFF.
IT IS NOT A VERBATIM OF WHAT IS BEING SAID, BUT IS THE FORECAST FOR OUR AREA.
INCREASING RAIN CHANCES THIS WEEK
We're starting the week off just right - high clouds, sunshine, and no rain. Of course this will not last. Humidity levels will begin rising, it'll feel uncomfortable, and by the end of the week showers will return.
The cloud cover we had on Monday came from thunderstorms in the Caribbean and Gulf. How does that happen? Simple. The winds thousands of feet in the air clipped the cloud tops and spread them over southwest Florida. At times it looked like it would rain, but it never did. The air under the clouds was just too dry. If rain did fall, it would evaporate before it reached the surface.
The drier air will soon be replaced with the nasty tropical air by midweek. That's when heat index values will rise, and isolated storms become numerous.
This will be a gradual transition. A few thunderstorms will be evident on radar Tuesday, they'll be widely spaced. Wednesday through Friday rain chances continue to increase - it'll be a return to the "norm" for southwest Florida. Mix of sun and clouds, and scattered thunderstorms each afternoon.
The weekend forecast looks like another split decision. One day looks nice while the other day doesn't. The best day will be Saturday. There will be some thunderstorms with mostly cloudy skies. Sunday will be quite the soaker as skies will be overcast and there will be numerous thunderstorms to track! That carries over into Monday, too, so expect a wet commute to work and school.
Conditions on the waters look nice for you beach and boat goers. Winds will be fairly light, and the inland waterways will have a slight chop.
There's nothing of concern in the tropics!
