THE FILE INCLUDED THE NAMES, SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBERS AND BIRTH DATES OF EACH STUDENT ELIGIBLE FOR THE BRIGHT FUTURES SCHOLARSHIPS FOR TWO ACADEMIC YEARS -- THE YEARS 2005 TO 2006, AND '06 TO '07.

FORECAST-WXWALL

SPECTACULAR WEATHER COMING TO SWFL!

The last seven days have simply been hot and humid. That's going to change.

Dry air is beginning to spill in from the north and it's going to have a very big impact on your day. Not only will it have an impact on your day today, but it'll have an impact on your week ahead!

How will it impact us?

Three ways:

1. Cooler temperatures in the morning.

2. Lower humidity.

3. More sun and less rain.

What could be better? Well, your morning lows will be in the lower to mid 60s! I wouldn't even be surprised if some of us see an upper 50.

Sunday will be mostly sunny and dry. Highs will be getting to 87 degrees, and it'll be a great day to go to the beach, boating, or even hit the course to go golfing.

It gets better from there!

Monday through Friday will be sunny and pleasant. Highs will be in the mid 80s.

Like I said. Spectacular

As for the tropics - there's two areas I'm watching.

The first sits right in between Hispaniola and South America. The National Hurricane Center is giving it a 30% chance of developing. It's a system we really need to keep an eye on. Some models hint at it maturing into a tropical system and driving northward.

Of course we are a week away so all we are doing is monitoring the area.

Next, thunderstorms just to the northeast of the Leeward Islands are trying to get more organized. The chance? 20%, but it's still something we need to watch as well.

Of course keep it here at NBC2 for the latest updates.
