THIS WEATHERCAST HAS BEEN PREPARED BY THE NBC2 WEATHER STAFF.
IT IS NOT A VERBATIM OF WHAT IS BEING SAID, BUT IS THE FORECAST FOR OUR AREA.
BREEZE CONTINUES AGAIN TOMORROW
Weather conditions for the entire eastern half of the country continue to be influenced by Sandy. The storm is over western Pennsylvania and still producing wind, rain and mountain snow across the Mid Atlantic and Northeastern United States. Down here in southwest Florida we are still feeling the windy weather as a result of the overall circulation pattern around the storm. Our cool temperatures will carry over into tonight as the breeze continues from the northwest. Lows will drop into the mid and upper 50's by tomorrow morning. It looks like there will be a few clouds overnight and skies will be partly cloudy to partly sunny tomorrow. The breeze tomorrow should be a little less than today. It doesn't look like the wind will go 'calm' tomorrow, but we should drop from an average wind speed of 20 mph to 15 mph tomorrow. High temperatures on Wednesday will hit the upper 70's in the afternoon.
It looks like the weather for Trick-or-Treaters tomorrow night should be just fine….comfortable 60's after the sun goes down tomorrow night.
A low chance for passing showers moves back in on Thursday. After that we will see mainly dry and comfortable weather for the weekend ahead.

Homes are decked out in halloween decor--
Residents are stocked up on sweets.
Nats-- pouring candy, "1:53 it gets pretty crazy."
The kid-friendly indigo lakes community has become a Halloween hot spot--
Nats-- doorbell ringing
Attracting thousands of trick-or-treaters every year.
Rachael echols, indigo lakes homeowners association: "35:22 You have to stock up on candy big time because you're going to run out in an hour in this community."
Maria almeyda, resident
"45:18 it's very popular in town so a lot of people from outside want to come in here to celebrate 23"
Costume-clad kids from golden gate estates and other areas with spread-out houses, and less candy-- flock here.
In the past, crowds have created a traffic nightmare--
With cars backing up at the front gate, all the way down collier boulevard.
35:18 "It's a mad house"
So the homeowners association put some regulations in place-- making halloween here an invitation only night.
Every resident needs a pass to get in to the neighborhood-- so do their guests.
Rachael echols:
"36:09 cuts down on that traffic and pile up at the front gate and I think it makes the community an all around safer place for halloween 14"
Collier county deputies will be at the front gate-- turning down anyone without a pass.
Rachael:
"37:06 non-resident vehicles without a guest pass will be denied entry immediately 10"
Other communities across southwest florida have closed their gates to outsiders. Stoneybrook in lee county has a pass system set-up-- limiting the amount of guests residents can invite.
Homeowners at indigo lakes say the pass- plan is perfect for their families.
Naomi leamon, indigo lakes resident
49:58 Before they had initiated passes we were overwhelmed with the amount of people that would come through. We would run out of candy very quickly and you didn't know anybody, the streets were crowded and cars were everywhere 17
The residents say they feel for the costumed children who can't stock up on candy here--
but think the rules were necessary to keep their own kids safe-- and satisfied.
Naomi leamon, indigo lakes resident
"52:15 you have to think about the kids that live here and by allowing everyone in collier county to just come in to the development you're depriving the kids that live here of their candy 28"
