IT IS NOT A VERBATIM OF WHAT IS BEING SAID, BUT IS THE FORECAST FOR OUR AREA.
"A SPOOK-tacular forecast"
After a cool start this morning, temperatures will be a bit warmer today compared to yesterdays high of 71°. Despite some cloud cover rolling in this morning, plan on another pleasant day across Southwest Florida with temperatures remaining below normal.
Through the late morning and early afternoon hours, a bit more sunshine will break through those clouds with partly sunny conditions for the rest of your Wednesday. Highs today will climb into the middle and upper 70s with a nice breeze out of the northwest. Winds won't be quiet as gusty today, however an occasional wind gust at 15 to 20mph isn't out of the question.
As we head into the evening hours, our skies will stay partly cloudy to mostly clear with mainly dry conditions. Temperatures will begin to drop into the upper 60s around sunset, so as your ghosts and goblins are getting ready to head out for some treats there will be a very slight chill in the air. Overnight, temperatures won't be quite as cool as most locations along the coast and urban corridor will drop into the lower 60s with spots deeper inland falling into the middle and upper 50s.
A weak cold front will sag down the peninsula on Thursday keeping our skies partly sunny with a slight chance for a few spotty showers during the afternoon and early evening. Temperatures will continue to run in the upper 70s to near 80°. While this front, won't bring another dose of colder air, it will reinforce the pleasant weather we've already been seeing.
As we head into Friday and the weekend, plenty of sunshine will fill our skies and a dry weather pattern will grip Southwest Florida. Expect temperatures to fall into the upper 50s to low 60s during the mornings with highs in the lower 80s during the afternoons.

"It saves the environment."
"I think with a lot of things happening in the Earth today in our environment it is definitely go green a better way."
"I get tired of throwing the plastic bags away."
AND THE CITY OF PALM SPRINGS AGREES.
"We've been trying to encourage people to stop the use of single-use plastic bags."
PALM SPRINGS IS ONE OF SEVERAL CITIES IN THE VALLEY STUDYING THE IDEA OF BANNING PLASTIC BAGS.
"The economic impact of just cleaning those up, you'll see them in the trees, you'll see them in the gutters, you'll see them in the streams, then the environmental impacts are huge."
THERE AREN'T ANY DEFINITE PLANS YET, BUT SOME BELIEVE IT'S ONLY A MATTER OF TIME.
"I think we can do it Valley-wide."
"Because it's happened in LA, I think what we are seeing is that it is possible."
"Hopefully, we will see something in 2013."
BUT BEFORE WE ALL TURN TO REUSABLE BAGS, LET'S TAKE A CLOSER LOOK.
AFTER ALL, WE'RE ARE GOING TO EVENTUALLY EAT WHAT GOES IN HERE.
THIS IS ONE IS MADE OUT OF CLOTH, THIS ONE A REUSABLE PLASTIC.
THEY LOOK CLEAN, BUT ARE THEY?
"Right now there are a lot of people using reusable bags."
DOCTOR RYAN SINCLAIR AT LOMA LINDA UNIVERSITY TESTED REUSABLE BAGS IN HIS LAB.
HERE'S WHAT HE FOUND:
"Overall, we found that 10 percent of the bags had E. coli, about 50 percent around there had chloroforms and almost all of them had some kind of bacteria."
DOCTOR SINCLAIR FOUND THE SAME TYPE OF BACTERIA INSIDE THESE BAGS AS YOU WOULD FIND IN DIRTY UNDERWEAR.
"I don't think anyone wants fecal bacteria in their grocery bag."
AND THINK ABOUT THIS: MOST OF US STORE THESE IN THE BACK OF OUR CARS -- A WARM, DARK PLACE, THE PERFECT BREEDING GROUND FOR BACTERIA.
"Oh, you're kidding, I would have never thought that.".
"That is shocking. That is shocking. Really?"
"Oh, that's terrible."
"Oh, Yuck. Really?"
"Gosh, because that's, ya know, that's one thing with our foods and our groceries we don't want to have any of that contamination going on."
THE DANGER IS REAL.
JUST RECENTLY SCIENTISTS TRACED A 2010 OUTBREAK OF NOROVIRUS IN OREGON TO A REUSABLE BAG.

AND DON'T FORGET THE SHARKS. BUT SURELY, THESE PHOTOS OF "THE PREDATOR OF
THE DEEP" IN NEWLY-AQUATIC HIGHWAYS, HOMES, AND ESCALATORS CAN'T BE REAL?
SOT - SHARK EXPERT
"As homes get closer to marshes and coastlines, we're increasing the odds of
