THIS WEATHERCAST HAS BEEN PREPARED BY THE NBC2 WEATHER STAFF.
IT IS NOT A VERBATIM OF WHAT IS BEING SAID, BUT IS THE FORECAST FOR OUR AREA.
SUN RETURNS FOR FRIDAY
The weather has been fantastic in the wake of Hurricane Sandy.
Those brisk winds, which have now subsided, blew in a very cool, dry air mass, and with the exception of Thursday - we've seen a lot of sunshine.
A cold front currently sits to our north. The definition of a cold front is simply a change between two air masses. Ahead of the front there's muggy air, behind the front there's dry air. The air behind this front is very dry; you'll see and feel it Friday.
The front passes to our south over night which means all the dry, comfortable, sunny conditions will ooze into southwest Florida for several days!
As we go through the next seven days the clouds will slowly increase. They'll go from the high thin wispy clouds we call CIRRUS, and slowly start lowering into the big puffy clouds we call CUMULUS.
Come Tuesday those CUMULUS clouds will bear rain at times as another cold front approaches. From midweek forward we'll go back to the sunny, dry, spectacular weather.
When it comes to the temperatures - watch out - upper 70s and lower 80s here to stay during the day time.
Morning lows - in the upper 50s and lower 60s.
Kudos to Mother Nature.
By the way, we still have 30 days left of hurricane season, and thankfully nothing is brewing in the tropics.

And in Hendry County, the United States Sugar Corporation sent a letter to voters asking them not to re-elect the property appraiser Phillip Pelletier."
"let her rip." Dr. Bill Wilcox, Edison St. College
DOCTOR BILL WILCOX AT EDISON STATE COLLEGE STAYS UP TO DATE ON THE POLITICAL SCENE.
HE SAYS BUSINESSES, LIKE PEOPLE, ARE ENTITLED TO SHARING THEIR OPINIONS, ESPECIALLY WHEN THE STAKES ARE SO HIGH.
"and have to do with foundational survival of a company or something. I think they'll tend to express their opinion and publicize it with their customers more." Dr. Bill Wilcox, Edison St. College
WHILE THE MESSAGE CAN BE VERY INFLUENTIAL, WILCOX SAYS IT CAN BE A GAMBLE WHEN PEOPLE DISAGREE WITH THE OPINION AND TAKE THEIR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE LIKE KENNEDY.
