THE ADVICE FROM A SOUTHWEST FLORIDA JUDGE, THAT MAY HAVE YOU CHECKING YOUR SETTINGS.
AD LIB WEATHER TEASE

THIS WEATHERCAST HAS BEEN PREPARED BY THE NBC2 WEATHER STAFF.
IT IS NOT A VERBATIM OF WHAT IS BEING SAID, BUT IS THE FORECAST FOR OUR AREA.
SUNSHINE RETURNING TO THE AREA
The skies were a bit bleak on Monday, and at times we even saw a passing shower.
Those same clouds will begin tapering off as we go into Tuesday, and that means our forecast will be singing a sweet melody about sunshine for this week.
There are two systems at play. They're currently giving us the depressive weather, and they must first move out before those sunny skies return. System number one is an area of high pressure positioned to our northeast. The winds flow clockwise around high pressures, so that helps pull Atlantic moisture into the region. System number two is a cold front stationed over north Florida, and it has a lot of moisture latched to it as well. The two are in-sync with one another. Thus, we had the clouds and light showers.
The cold front will track over the state of Florida Tuesday. In its wake - the dry, sunny skies!
In summary my forecast for Tuesday through Friday will have a medley of clouds and sun. No rainfall and daytime temperatures in the lower 80s. Mornings lows will remain in the 60s.
Saturday will be an interesting day.
A stronger, more robust cold front will enter the southeast. It has a great chance of elevating our rain chances for Saturday. The rest of the weekend will be dry, and the blue skies will dominate. Cooler weather will return, too, as mornings plummet to the 50s and afternoon highs struggle to get into the 70s!

RUNYON POSTED A PICTURE OF HIMSELF WITH A 9MM HANDGUN ON FACEBOOK. AN OFFICER SAW IT AND ARRESTED RUNYON.
FIGHT VIDEO POSTED ON YOUTUBE SENT A NAPLES HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT TO JAIL--
AND THIS FACEBOOK PICTURE OF PUPPIES FOR SALE-- WAS USED TO ARREST 27-YEAR-OLD HECTOR CARRION FOR GRAND THEFT.
DEPUTIES SAY THE POST PROVES HE STOLE A PREGNANT PITBULL, THEN TRIED TO SELL HER LITTER ONLINE.
"If they chose to do that were going to try and exploit that as much as we can within legal means. We're going to use social media, we're going to use the internet, whatever we can to try and identify who the criminal is and what crimes they've committed."
IF YOU DO SOMETHING ILLEGAL AND DECIDE TO SHARE IT ON SOCIAL MEDIA-- THE PICTURES, POSTS, VIDEOS BECOME PUBLIC-- MAKING THEM FAIR GAME FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT.
"Law enforcement officers under the right circumstances, if they follow the right procedures, can access that information and use it against you."
"It's making it easier to find criminals. you know what, if they want to be that dumb."
"I think that's kind of a violation of your privacy, I mean that would be the same thing as somebody reading your diary."
BUT UNLIKE SEARCHING A HOME OR PASSWORD-PROTECTED E-MAIL ACCOUNT--
SOCIAL MEDIA IS CONSIDERED PUBLIC-- SO OFFICERS DON'T NEED A WARRANT OR SUBPOENA TO SEARCH.
"Gaby: Someone who has a public facebook page, a public twitter page, are they forfeiting their right to privacy? Judge crown: If your privacy settings are set to public anyone can log on and see your information then yes, you have forfeited all rights to or expectation of privacy."
"But even if your profile page is private and officers cant access your account--if a friend shares it online, or decides to hand it over-- the evidence can still be used against you."
AS LONG AS A PROSECUTOR CAN PROVE THE POSTS OR PICTURES ARE AUTHENTIC AND CAME FROM THE DEFENDANT--
THEY ARE ADMISSIBLE IN COURT.
