THIS WEATHERCAST HAS BEEN PREPARED BY THE NBC2 WEATHER STAFF.
IT IS NOT A VERBATIM OF WHAT IS BEING SAID, BUT IS THE FORECAST FOR OUR AREA.
"Mainly dry and staying warm"
After several days with temperatures in the 80s, it looks we'll tack on a couple of more before some changes in our weather pattern take place over the weekend.
The patchy dense fog that was across Southwest Florida this morning quickly faded and now we're seeing plenty of sunshine across the area. A weak cool front continues to weaken and wash out across the central part of the state and with a slight push of some dry air from the northwest, this should stabilize our atmosphere through the afternoon and keep our rain prospects less than 20%. This will lead to mostly to partly sunny skies and daytime highs climbing into the lower to middle 80s.
Tonight, skies will go mostly clear with lows settling into the lower to middle 60s by early morning with light winds, which could lead to some patchy fog once again.
We will round out the work week with near normal temperatures in the lower half of the 80s. You will also notice an increase in the clouds during the afternoon on Friday ahead of another system that will push a cold front through our part of the state on Saturday. Right now, it doesn't look like this front will have much moisture to work with so rain chances will be capped at 20-30% late Friday and into Saturday morning with a few widely scattered showers.
In the wake of this front, a cooler and drier airmass will filter down the peninsula which will keep our nights cool and our afternoons mild and pleasant. High pressure will dominate our weather through the early part of the week with plenty of sunshine and lower humidity values.

IT DOESN'T MATTER WHO YOU ARE. TO AN IDENTITY THIEF. YOU ARE JUST ANOTHER DIGITAL POCKET TO PICK.
"They are looking for any kind of information that they can monetize, turn into money."
AND TO GET THAT MONEY, ESET SECURITY EXPERT STEPHEN COBB SAYS SCAMMER WILL TRY ANYTHING. AND IN THE NEAR FUTURE. THAT COULD INCLUDE YOUR PERSONAL ONLINE PHOTOS.
"We don't know what they're trying to do with those images but it's an indication of, where future attacks may be coming."
BY WHY PHOTOS? COULD OUR DIGITAL PICTURES BE VALUABLE TO A CROOK?
"I think that everyone is looking for the next way to make easy money, why not use your pictures?"
"That's scary, I wouldn't like that at all."
BUT IT IS POSSIBLE. AND HIDDEN SOFTWARE HAS ALREADY BEEN CREATED TO DO IT.
"And so it's going through the hard drives on your computer and looking for image files and then uploading them to a remote site."
STEPHEN COBB SAYS IN THE FUTURE, SCAMMERS COULD BE LOOKING FOR FINANCIAL INFORMATION IN YOUR PHOTOS, PICTURES OF CHECKS OR RECEIPTS. BUT THE REAL PRIZE COULD BE PRIVATE PICTURES THAT COULD LAND ON VERY PUBLIC PORN SITES.
"You could be seeing the first stage of an attempt to go out there and siphon in pictures, process them in some automated way to find out which ones are salacious and then use those for content in adult sites."
"There are definite privacy issues and i feel like a lot of people my age don't take that into account."
"Now you may say you don't put photos on your computer so you're fine. But realize, the cell phone that you're using to take those photos, it's a mini computer."
"Both that computer and that phone are going to be the target of bad guys looking for salacious pictures."
"It's common sense, don't be stupid."
THAT'S WHY IT'S CRITICAL TO RUN SECURITY SOFTWARE TO PROTECT YOUR COMPUTER FROM VIRUSES AND THIEVES.
SO ARE EXPERTS NOW SAYING NOT TO POST YOUR PHOTOS ONLINE? TO STAY CLEAR OF SITE LIKE INSTAGRAM AND FACEBOOK?
"No, I'm saying, think before you shoot."

IT'S NOT A BIRD.
"Keep going up and up and up."
IT'S NOT A PLANE.
"Here it's flipping around."
EVEN THIS AVIATION EXPERT IS MYSTIFIED.
"Uh, I can't identify it."
WE FIRST LEARNED ABOUT THESE STRANGE SIGHTINGS WHEN THIS METRO AREA MAN, WHO DOES NOT WANT TO BE IDENTIFIED, BROUGHT US HIS HOME VIDEO.
"You're going to see a little burst of fire right there, kind of a thruster."
HE CAPTURED THE IMAGES ON HIS DIGITAL CAMERA FROM A HILLTOP IN FEDERAL HEIGHTS, LOOKING SOUTH TOWARDS DOWNTOWN DENVER.
"Mile High is right about here."
HE SAYS THE FLYING OBJECTS APPEAR AROUND NOON OR ONE P-M AT LEAST A COUPLE OF TIMES A WEEK.
"You're going to see it come in from the top and do a loopy loop."
THE STRANGEST PART IS THEY ARE FLYING TOO FAST TO SEE WITH THE NAKED EYE. THIS IS VIDEO IN REAL TIME.
"See it? That was it."
BUT IF YOU SLOW IT DOWN FRAME-BY-FRAME IT'S THERE. WE ALTERED THE COLOR CONTRAST TO HELP YOU SEE IT. HERE'S ANOTHER ONE IN REAL TIME. THIS IS WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE SLOWED DOWN.
"WE WANTED TO VERIFY THAT THE VIDEO WE SAW WAS LEGIT. SO OUR PHOTOJOURNALIST CAME OUT WITH HIS OWN CAMERA. HE SET UP IN THE SAME SPOT ON 84TH AND FEDERAL AND HE SHOT VIDEO FROM JUST BEFORE NOON UNTIL JUST AFTER ONE."
AND WHEN WE SLOWED DOWN OUR PHOTOGRAPHER'S VIDEO, WE SAW THIS FLYING OBJECT.
"I would consider myself an expert."
AVIATION EXPERT STEVE COWELL IS A FORMER COMMERCIAL PILOT, INSTRUCTOR AND FAA ACCIDENT PREVENTION COUNSELOR.
"It's very strange."
HE THOUGHT HE WOULD HAVE A LOGICAL EXPLANATION UNTIL HE WATCHED THE VIDEO.
"That is not an airplane, that is not a helicopter, those are not birds. Uh, I can't identify it."
COWELL TOLD US HE KNOWS OF NO AIRCRAFT THAT FLIES AS FAST
"Because of the speed of the object, most people I think would miss it."
COWELL DID SAY THERE WAS ONE OTHER POSSIBILITY.
"Perhaps there is some sort of debris that's being raised up by some of the atmospheric winds."
BUT IN HIS PROFESSIONAL OPINION.
"As it fits the definition, it's an unidentified flying object."
THE FAA TRACKS ALL AIR TRAFFIC IN COLORADO AND ACROSS THE COUNTRY. THE FAA SENT US A STATEMENT SAYING: WE CHECKED WITH AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL AND NO ONE HAS HAD ANY REPORTS OF ANY OF THE ACTIVITY YOU DESCRIBED. The folks from ARNI moved by the plight of those in the Northeast after Superstorm Sandy loaded up a Uhaul and pickup filled with supplies, including cages and pet food and donated everything up in the New York area. They had no idea though, they'd come back with another full load.
You are looking at a puppy playground, though we apparently visited at nap time. but they should be exhausted after a long trip from the storm swollen streets of the Northeast in Sandy's Aftermath. ARNI is an animal rescue group and when volunteers went up north they found puppies, adult dogs. Even these kittens a man handed over named for the streets of New York. Quincy and Liberty.
"He had found a couple of little kitties under his house that were not his, didn't know where they came from. But they were tiny tiny. I think feral cats probably."
Shelters in the storm area are at capacity or damaged themselves. So ARNI and others are stepping up to save the animals and find them new families. For Robin Durfee and her boys, you could call it puppy love.
"We want to get a dog for our home, but it's even better to give them a home when they need it so badly."
The influx has stretched ARNI's limits now, but they just can't turn away an animal.
"We definitely are I think maximum capacity now but you do what you, how can you say no. I don't think you can. I couldn't.

nats "Your mood swings are kind of giving me whiplash"
KRISTEN STEWART WAS JUST 18 WHEN THE TWILIGHT SAGA STARTED FOUR YEARS AGO.
"It's crazy for me to watch that."
MAYBE EVEN MORESO TO WATCH THE CULTURAL PHENOMENON THAT
THE TWILIGHT FILMS BECAME.
"No one expected it to turn in to what it became."
PROMPTING FANS TO CAMP OUT MORE THAN
A WEEK AHEAD OF THE FINALE.
nats
"Especially to keep this level of intensity on the 5th movie, it's crazy."
FANNING THE FLAMES OF THAT PASSION-----A STORY THAT STARTED AS A
SERIES OF BEST SELLING BOOKS.
"People seem to love this whole kind of timeless love, eternal love theme."
BUT FANS' FASCINATION EXTENDED TO THE STARS
THEMSELVES.EVEN WHEN THEY MADE OTHER MOVIES.
"You could see this crowd at the side of the set, waiting for me to sign Twilight pictures
and stuff, and they're watching, sort of expecting Edward. And they're just thoroughly
disappointed."
BUT THAT'S NOT EXPECTED TO BE THE CASE FOR A HIGH OCTANE "BREAKING DAWN PART 2".
"We are living in full blown, Twilight, vampire world now. There's nothing holding you down any more."
AND THE ENDING HOLDS A SURPRISE----EVEN FOR FANS OF THE BOOKS.
It's a very big departure between the last book and the last movie, so what will the fans think? We'll have to wait and see."
THE TWI-HARDS RENDER THEIR VERDICT STARTING TONIGHT.

THE EXECUTIVE CHEF AT WINNIE'S LE BUS RESTAURANT IS ALL ABOUT HEALTHY, FRESH INGREDIENTS, BUT NOT ALL HIS CUSTOMERS ARE.
"When you go out do you just get whatever you want or do you think healthy?"
"I guess it just depends what mood I'm in."
"Being absolutely healthy doesn't generally make me have a good time."
PEOPLE HAVE A LOT OF EXCUSES FOR NOT EATING HEALTHY WHEN THEY'RE OUT, BUT REGISTERED DIETITIAN JOY DUBOST WHO JOINED ME AT THE RESTAURANT SAYS IT'S REALLY NOT THAT DIFFICULT.
"Typically the number one mistake is that they over-consume."
JOY SAYS SOME SURE FIRE WAYS TO MAKE SURE YOU DON'T OVER EAT.
SKIP THE BREAD AND BUTTER BEFORE THE MEAL.
GRILLED, BAKED OR BROILED BEAT OUT FRIED FOODS ANY DAY.
PAY ATTENTION TO THE PORTIONS. THAT CAN BE AS EASY AS SPLITTING YOUR ENTREES AND APPETIZERS.
"That way you can try different things and share and therefore you are not consuming any one thing."
BEWARE OF YOUR BEVERAGES. JOY SAYS THEY ARE AN EASY SOURCE OF CALORIES AND CAN QUICKLY ADD UP.
"Depending on the size it can be anywhere from 150 to 300 calories."
JOY SAYS THIS IS WHAT YOU WANT TO LOAD UP ON- FRUITS AND VEGETABLES. SHE SAYS THEY ARE LOW IN CALORIES AND HIGH IN NUTRIENTS AND TASTE GOOD.
YES, GET THE DRESSING ON THE SIDE, AND WATCH WHAT'S ON THE SALAD- JOY GIVES THIS ONE A THUMBS UP - ASPARAGUS, TOMATO, CHICKEN AND HOMEMADE GRILLED SALSA.
"Some salads have more calories than a burger and fries because of all the ingredients they add."
JOY SUGGESTS CHOOSING RESTAURANTS WITH HEALTHY OPTIONS.
EXECUTIVE CHEF JOHN O'BRIEN SAYS THAT IS ONE OF THEIR TOP PRIORITIES.
"The one thing we try to stay away from is anything processed, we make our own salad dressings, our own soups. all fresh vegetables."
