Winds will be coming from the south-southeast around 5- 10 mph pumping more warm weather. Highs will be in the upper 70s and lower 80s across the area. There will again be patchy fog forming tonight into tomorrow morning with lower near the 60 degree mark. Through the day Thursday, cloud cover will be increasing ahead of a cold front. Then on Friday we can expect a few scattered showers as the front moves into our area. This front will be different from the past couple of fronts. Cloud cover and the chance for a few showers will stick around through the weekend. There won't be a big cool down with this front either. Highs will still be in the upper 70s this weekend.

reluctantly passing the Senate's bill.

"I WILL SIGN A LAW THAT RAISES TAXES ON THE WEALTHIEST TWO-PERCENT OF
AMERICANS, WHILE PREVENTING A MIDDLE CLASS TAX HIKE THAT COULD HAVE SENT THE
ECONOMY BACK INTO A RECESSION."
For a time it appeared the bill was headed for defeat.
SOT Rep. Eric Cantor
"I DO NOT SUPPORT THE BILL."
House Republicans did not want to raise taxes without significant cuts in
government spending.
SOT Rep. Spencer Bachus
"THERE'S NO SPENDING CUTS. WE'RE ADDING FOUR-BILLION-DOLLARS A DAY TO THE
DEBT. WE FEEL LIKE THE SENATE BILL FAILED MISERABLY."
But in the end House Republicans decided not to drag out the fight any
longer and risk potentially taking the blame for massive tax hikes on nearly
every American worker.

"WHAT'S THE ALTERNATIVE? THE ALTERNATIVE IS TO ALLOW FOUR-TRILLION-DOLLARS
WORTH OF TAX HIKES TO HIT THE AMERICAN PEOPLE, MARKET UNCERTAINTY."
The bill shields people earning less than $400,000 a year from tax
increases.
And it also extends unemployment benefits for roughly two-million
people.
What it does not do, however, is raise the so-called debt ceiling.
In two months, the government will reach its limit on borrowing unless
Congress acts.
Not to mention the bill only delays large cuts to the Pentagon and other
government programs.
