FAMILY TELLS US JONATHAN CRUZ SUFFERED A BROKEN HIP AND BRAIN INJURIES AFTER GETTING HIT BY A CAR THIS MORNING.

THE TEEN WAS HIT ON DE NAVARRA STREET. TRYING TO CROSS FOUR LANES OF TRAFFIC TO GET TO THE SCHOOL.

It's not what island coast high school student Joey forit expects to see when he pulls up to school.

Sot Joey forit, island coast high school student "All I saw was a bunch of fire trucks, ambulances, cop cars, it was just. I thought something happened, but I'd didnt really know what until I went into class and got the full story."

His friend and classmate Jonathan Cruz-hit by this pickup truck.

Sot Daniel Anderson, victims grandfather "He was dropped off for school and he crossed the street, and obviously he didn't see the car or the car didn't see him and he got hit."

Daniel Anderson is Jonathan's grandfather.

He tells us his grandson was trying to cross 4 lanes of traffic when the incident occurred.

He was Hit so hard- his gymshoes stayed behind.

He's got a broken hip and some swelling on the brain."

Right now- the 16 year old is recovering from emergency surgery.

THE MIAMI MAN IS WANTED FOR ALLEGEDLY SHOOTING HIS EX-GIRLFRIEND IN THE FACE SEVERAL TIMES-- KILLING HER.

INSIDE WAS A MIAMI FUGITIVE-- WANTED FOR MURDER.

42-YEAR-OLD IFRAIN QUINTANA HAS BEEN HIDING OUT SINCE DECEMBER--

AFTER HE ALLEGEDLY KILLED HIS EX-GIRLFRIEND IN PUBLIC-- RIGHT OUTSIDE OF A MIAMI PHARMACY.

HE REPORTEDLY TAUNTED ARIADNA GONZALEZ CAMPA BEFORE HE SHOT HER SEVERAL TIMES IN THE FACE AND CHEST.

"We have to assume based on the nature of that crime that he could be dangerous."

QUINTANA SURRENDERED PEACEFULLY AND WAS TAKEN INTO CUSTODY.

NEIGHBORS ARE RELEIVED THE COMMOTION ENDED SAFELY.

"I think that's kind of dangerous man, as long as they did what they had to do nobody got hurt, nobody got shot, my kid is safe."

FORT MYERS POLICE ARRESTED BRIAN BIGELOW THIS MORNING--

THEY TELL US THEY FOUND TEN SMALL BAGS OF COCAINE IN BIGELOW'S POCKET --

AND MORE UNDER THE PASSENGER SEAT OF HIS RENTAL CAR.

after fort myers officers report catching them in the dunbar community in an area known for drugs.

says she's never seen bigelow before,

but has spotted avila.

fort myers police say they spotted bigelow outside his car,

cops say the former commissioner began acting extremley nervous-

sweating and stuttering.

then, officers allegedly found 10 bags of cocaine on bigelow, along with

a cut straw, which is commonly used for snorting the drug.

police say they also found a bag of cocaine under avila's seat.

both were arrested.

DEPUTIES ARRESTED THE TEEN AFTER THEY FOUND DRUGS IN BIGELOWS CAR.

THAT TEEN SAID THE COCAINE HE WAS CARRYING BELONGED TO BIGELOW.
