CHANGES COMING SOON
It is going to be a warm, humid day with a breeze. Winds from the south to southwest will come in at 15 -20 mph and gust even higher than that. That breeze will send plenty of warm humid air in our direction to warm our afternoon temperatures into the mid 80s. Cloud cover will thicken as we finish out the day and head into the night tonight. It will be rather muggy tonight and lows will only be able to cool into the mid and upper 60s in most places. Some inland cool spots could get into the lower 60s. All of this happening ahead of a cold front headed in our direction. By tomorrow morning, showers will be moving into Southwest Florida with that cold front. It is likely that the showers move through during the morning commute and will be finished before midday. This front is followed by drier, cooler air. Highs tomorrow will only reach into the low to mid 70s. After the showers end, skies will be clearing into tomorrow evening and tomorrow night. Friday morning will be rather chilly with lows in the mid 40s in the urban corridor and near 40 inland. We'll keep temperatures in the 70s through the weekend.

THE DOW JONES INDUSTRIAL AVERAGE HAS BEEN FLIRTING WITH 14 THOUSAND, A LEVEL IT HASN'T SEEN SINCE OCTOBER 2007.

It looks and feels like a comeback.
Stocks and the nation's Housing market are both soaring.
The Dow Jones nearly hit the 14-thousand mark yesterday, closing at 13
,954 -- its highest level in five years.
After an increase of 850 points in January, the Dow is only 200 points away
from its all time high.
The result: Americans' investments are surging.
The average 401k retirement account has increased about 20 percent in
the last year, from $64,000 to roughly $80,000.

It was the biggest year to year increase since the housing bubble.
SOT Barbara Corcoran, Business Consultant
"THIS IS A MIRACLE IN MOTION. WE HAVEN'T SEEN THIS IN PROBABLY SEVEN YEARS."
Housing prices have gone up ten months in a row. Up the most in
Phoenix -- nearly 23 percent.
So why are buyers lining up? For starters, interest rates are historically

THE ANTI AGING CLINIC WAS CALLED BIOGENESIS. IT WAS RUN OUT OF THIS OFFICE BUILDING IN CORAL GABLES, FLORIDA, UNTIL ABOUT TWO WEEKS AGO WHEN IT SHUTDOWN. NOW, THE VACANT BUSINESS IS THE CENTER OF YET ANOTHER SAGA OF PERFORMANCE ENHANCING DRUGS -- PED'S -- AND MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL PLAYERS.
A REPORT PUBLISHED IN THE MIAMI NEW TIMES, SAYS THIS CLINIC WAS A PIPELINE TO PEDS FOR SEVERAL PLAYERS.
"Well its clear that biogenesis like a lot of anti aging clinics was selling a lot of hgh, a number of other drugs you know they're widely banned in sports testoserone, anabolic steroids. The records that we've seen indicate as for the average population he was providing these same kind of drugs to professional athletes."
And they're banned substances?
That's correct."
ACCORDING TO MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL, THREE PLAYERS NAMED IN THE ARTICLE WHICH LINKS THEM TO THE CLINIC HAVE ALREADY BEEN DISCIPLINED UNDER THE LEAGUES JOINT DRUG PROGRAM.
IN A STATEMENT, MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL SAYS, "WE ARE IN THE MIDST OF AN ACTIVE INVESTIGATION AND ARE GATHERING AND REVIEWING INFORMATION. WE WILL REFRAIN FROM FURTHER COMMENT UNTIL THIS PROCESS IS COMPLETE."
REPRESENTATIVES OF NEW YORK YANKEE ALEX RODRIGUEZ IDENTIFIED IN THE NEW TIMES ARTICLE -- BUT NOT NAMED AS BEING DISCIPLINED -- ISSUED THIS OUTRIGHT DENIAL:

GEO GONZALEZ, A WASHINGTON NATIONALS PITCHER WHO WAS ALSO NAMED IN THE ARTICLE TWEETED:
"I'VE NEVER USED PERFORMANCE ENHANCING DRUGS OF ANY KIND AND I NEVER WILL. I'VE NEVER MET OR SPOKEN WITH TONY BOSCH OR USED ANY SUBSTANCES."

Friday morning will be rather chilly with lows in the mid 40s in the urban corridor and near 40 inland. We'll keep temperatures in the 70s through the weekend.

BUT A NEW A STUDY FINDS DONORS WHO SMOKED MORE THAN A PACK OF CIGARETTES A DAY FOR MORE THAN 20 YEARS WERE STRONG CANDIDATES FOR DOUBLE LUNG TRANSPLANT DONORS.
THE STUDY WAS PRESENTED THIS WEEK AT THE ANNUAL SOCIETY OF THORACIC SURGEONS MEETING.
RESEARCHERS FOUND THAT THE PATIENTS WHO RECEIVED LUNGS FROM SMOKERS HAD SIMILAR SHORT AND MEDIUM TERM SURVIVAL RATES AS THOSE WHO RECEIVED LUNGS FROM PEOPLE WHO DID NOT SMOKE HEAVILY.

THINGS ARE CHANGING AT PROVIDENCE PERFORMING ARTS CENTER NOW THAT TWITTER IS JOINING THE PERFORMANCE.
"It's important for us to get the word out to as many people as possible as quickly as possible and Twitter is a perfect vehicle for that."
P-PAC LAUNCHED ITS TWEETSEAT PROGRAM IN APRIL DURING THE PRODUCTION OF BRING IT ON
SINCE THEN. THE THEATER HAS ALLOWED TWEETING DURING FOUR OTHER PERFORMANCES.
"It's kind of that idea the the tweeters are seeing the show right at this moment and they're enjoying it and it's their first reaction."
"We've seen a broad range of tweet seaters. It's not just a young person or an older person. It runs the gamut."
A SHOW'S PRODUCER DECIDES WHETHER TWEETING IS ALLOWED.
SOMETIMES IT'S DONE THROUGHOUT A PERFORMANCE. OTHER TIMES ONLY DURING INTERMISSION.
"I think it does engage people and it encourages them to be part of the process."
CONCERNED PATRONS SHOULD KNOW P-PAC IS TAKING PRECAUTIONS TO LIMIT DISTRACTIONS.
"THE TWEETSEATS ARE HERE IN THE VERY BACK OF THE THEATER PLUS TWEETERS ARE ASKED TO REDUCE THE BRIGHTNESS OF THEIR PHONE OR TABLET SO IT'S NOT AS NOTICEABLE."
THEY ALSO CAN'T TAKE PICTURES OR VIDEO.
"They have to be quiet. also we ask them to not reveal any crucial plot lines from the show."
THE THEATER SAYS THERE'S NEVER MORE THAN 20 TWEETERS IN THE AUDIENCE.
GOOD NEWS SINCE IT'S CHEAP TO TWEET. PARTICIPANTS GET A COMPLIMENTARY TICKET.
BUT THE TWEETSEATS AREN'T FOR A NOVICE. THEY ESTIMATE THE AVERAGE PERSON SENDS A DOZEN OR MORE TWEETS PER PERFORMANCE.
