Today's Weather Story
THIS WEATHERCAST HAS BEEN PREPARED BY THE NBC2 WEATHER STAFF.
IT IS NOT A VERBATIM OF WHAT IS BEING SAID, BUT IS THE FORECAST FOR OUR AREA.
"Chilly mornings, mild afternoons"
After a little bit of rain yesterday, we're in store for a pleasant stretch of weather with chilly mornings and mild afternoons. The last of the cloud cover has pushed across the far southern tip of the peninsula with clear skies across our part of the state. Even though our Friday will dawn bright and sunny, there will be quite a chill in the air as temperatures have plummeted into the middle 40s with a few upper 30s to our north and deeper inland.
Lots of sunshine during the afternoon will warm us back into the upper 60s to lower 70s. Combine these below average temperatures with low humidity and we're on track for a beautiful day as we close out the week.
Through the evening, temperatures are forecast to fall into the 50s under clear skies before dipping back into the upper 40s by sunrise Saturday.
Cool and dry high pressure across the southeastern United States will keep our weather pattern tranquil as we head into the weekend. Sunny conditions will dominate our skies both Saturday and Sunday, but the main weather story will be the cooler than average temperatures, especially during the morning.
Through next week, we will keep a dry pattern in place with lows in the upper 40s to low 50s. Daytime highs will continue on a warming trend into the upper 70s under partly sunny skies through Thursday. Enjoy!

Weather Trends
Enjoy!
