THIS WEATHERCAST HAS BEEN PREPARED BY THE NBC2 WEATHER STAFF.
IT IS NOT A VERBATIM OF WHAT IS BEING SAID, BUT IS THE FORECAST FOR OUR AREA.
It's another cool start to the day with temperatures as low as the upper 40s this morning, and we've got another very comfortable day on the way with daytime highs expected to return to the mid 70s.
Sunshine will dominate our sky once again, and humidity will stay very low. As far as our rain chance goes, it's pretty much nonexistent since the atmosphere is so dry and stable.
One slight change we'll notice today is the wind. The breeze will become a little stronger and more northerly through the day with gusts getting up toward 15-20 mph at times.
We're tracking another weak disturbance that will pass through today, which will mainly just replenish the cool air we already have in place. As a result, temperatures tonight will likely drop into the mid to upper 40s across urban Southwest Florida and as low as the lower 40s and upper 30s deeper inland.
Monday will be another dandy with plentiful sunshine, comfortable humidity, and daytime highs in the low to mid 70s.
Some changes will start to take place Tuesday as the warmth begins building back in. We'll notice a few more patchy clouds during the afternoon, and daytime highs should climb into the upper 70s by Tuesday afternoon.
From Wednesday through the end of the week, humidity will be on the rise along with our temperatures. Daytime highs should get back into the low 80s through early next weekend, and overnight temperatures will be on the milder side with lows only cooling into the low 60s.
Look for more patchy clouds to develop toward the end of the week, but rain chances will be at a minimum with the exception of a couple spotty showers.

FORECAST OPEN
Return to index of stories...
