Some patchy rain and even a couple thunderstorms will push into the area this evening and tonight as a cold front slides southward through Southwest Florida.
The rain will come at us from the Gulf of Mexico but will be weakening as it edges our way.
As we go through the night, the rain will keep pushing south and should clear the area by midnight. Our sky will gradually clear late tonight into early Thursday, and temperatures will become a little cooler with lows getting down to the mid 50s.

After starting out in the mid 50s, we'll spend the afternoon with highs only reaching the low to mid 70s. We'll also have a nice northerly breeze from 10-15 with some higher gusts up to 20 mph.
Temperatures will be on the cool side again to start our Friday with lows around the low to mid 50s, but a quick temperatures turnaround is expected Friday afternoon as daytime highs rebound to the low 80s.
The warmth and humidity will keep building in early this weekend with highs reaching the mid 80s along with a mix of sun and clouds.

INVESTIGATORS SAY 68-YEAR OLD JOHNS CALLED THAT FAMILY MEMBER IN MICHIGAN MONDAY NIGHT - SAYING "THERE WAS A DOMESTIC DISTURBANCE" AT HER EAST NAPLES HOME AND THAT SHE WAS ARMED WITH A GUN.
0:05/911 CALL "I'll tell you this, I'm concerned she might of just shot the man."
DEPUTIES SAY THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED.
WHEN THEY ARRIVED ON THE SCENE - THEY FOUND HER HUSBAND, 72-YEAR OLD JACK JOHNS DEAD ON THE FLOOR INSIDE, WITH A BULLET WOUND TO THE CHEST -WHILE HELEN WAS SITTING ON THE FRONT PORCH.
JUST LAST MONTH - THE 68-YEAR-OLD CALLED LAW ENFORCEMENT AFTER SHE WAS DRINKING AT HER GLEN EAGLE COUNTRY CLUB.

TONIGHT A 9-1-1 CALL SHOWS DRINKING *COULD'VE* BEEN A FACTOR IN THIS HOMICIDE.
911/1:43 "Does she have a history of any medical problems?" "We don't know, she's an alcoholic, she drinks a lot. Some things have gone on in the past month where she can't figure out what happened to her."
WE ASKED DEPUTIES IF HELEN MAY HAVE BEEN UNDER THE INFLUENCE AT THE TIME OF THE SHOOTING - BUT THEY COULDN'T GO INTO DETAIL WITH THE ONGOING INVESTIGATION.
