6:02 FIRST ALERT FORECAST ON THE 2'S-WX WALL

THIS WEATHERCAST HAS BEEN PREPARED BY THE NBC2 WEATHER STAFF.

IT IS NOT A VERBATIM OF WHAT IS BEING SAID, BUT IS THE FORECAST FOR OUR AREA.

We keep adding on to the warm up today as temperatures climb back into the 70s.

Some of our inland areas may even manage to reach the upper 70s, but coastal regions will stay cooler thanks to a chilly wind off the Gulf of Mexico, which will keep highs at the beaches around the low 70s.

today will end up being a little cloudier than yesterday thanks to a weak disturbance to our northwest, but we'll manage to work in some rays of sun as well. Rain will be hard to find today, but it's not completely out of the question for a few spotty sprinkles to form to the north around Charlotte and Sarasota County.

The warming trend rolls along into the upcoming week until the next cold front arrives Wednesday. Before this next batch of chilly weather moves in, though, daytime temperatures will approach 80 degrees Monday afternoon and mid to upper 70s on Tuesday.

The cool air starts trickling in Wednesday, and we'll even see the opportunity for a few showers Wednesday as the front sags south down the Florida peninsula.

Forecast models are a bit at odds beyond Wednesday, but one possible scenario is for a cold Thursday with morning temperatures as low as the 30s and 40s and afternoon highs only in the 60s.

We'll need to keep monitoring the potential for this next blast of cold air for the middle of next week, so keep checking your First Alert Forecast on nbc-2.com. Return to index of stories...

6:32 FIRST ALERT FORECAST ON THE 2'S-WX WALL

WE CAN ALL REMEMBER-- ONE TIME-- WHEN JUSTIN BIEBER WAS THE FRESH-FACED, TEENAGE HEART THROB, WHO ATTRACTED MILLIONS OF BELIEBERS WITH THAT VOICE.

AND THAT HAIR.

BUT A STRING OF RECENT RUN-INS HAVE LEFT THE POP STAR WITH A BAD RAP… AND A RAP SHEET TO GO WITH IT.

"He was arrested. And he was crying because he got arrested. So, this is real life. This isn't some pop star trying to rebrand himself."

THE 19-YEAR-OLD IS THOUGHT TO BE WORTH MORE THAN 100-MILLION DOLLARS.

HE'S HAD FIVE PLATINUM ALBUMS, A POPULAR PERFUME, AND A SLEW OF ENDORSEMENT DEALS.

ADIDAS CONFIRMS THEY'RE STICKING WITH BIEBER.

THEIR STATEMENT, QUOTE, ".NOTHING HAS CHANGED WITH OUR PARTNERSHIP AT THIS TIME."

BUT BEYOND THIS WEEK'S ARREST IN MIAMI FOR DRUNKEN DRIVING-- THE ENTERTAINER'S LEGAL TROUBLES ARE MOUNTING.

"Beiber is currently under investigation for allegedly egging his neighbor's home. And he could be charged with vandalism."

INDUSTRY WATCHERS SUGGEST THE BIG BUSINESS OF BEING BIEBER COULD TAKE A HIT.

"His current movie has bombed it earned six-million where his previous movie did about 74 domestically, so that's a big problem. One of the tenants of branding is you have to be likable. So, he was very likable at one point, and now he's not so much."

MUGGING FOR HIS MUGSHOT-- CLIMBING ON TOP OF HIS JAIL GETAWAY CAR.

BUT COULD IT JUST BE PART OF A BIGGER PLAN FOR THE BIEBER BRAND?

"As an adult I find that appalling. As a parent I find that appalling. But, I bet if I was a teenage girl, I would find that exciting and maybe that was the intent."

HE HAS DIEHARD FANS AND A TWITTER FOLLOWING THAT'S 49 MILLION STRONG.

IF ANYTHING-- HE'S ONLY ATTRACTING MORE ATTENTION.
