FORECAST-WXWALL

WX RUNDOWN:

THIS WEATHERCAST HAS BEEN PREPARED BY THE NBC2 WEATHER STAFF.

IT IS NOT A VERBATIM OF WHAT IS BEING SAID, BUT IS THE FORECAST FOR OUR AREA.

The warming trend rolls along into the upcoming week until the next cold front arrives Wednesday. Before this next batch of chilly weather moves in, though, daytime temperatures will approach 80 degrees Monday afternoon and mid to upper 70s on Tuesday.

The cool air starts trickling in Wednesday, and we'll even see the opportunity for a few showers Wednesday as the front sags south down the Florida peninsula.

Forecast models are a bit at odds beyond Wednesday, but one possible scenario is for a cold Thursday with morning temperatures as low as the 30s and 40s and afternoon highs only in the 60s.

We'll need to keep monitoring the potential for this next blast of cold air for the middle of next week
