5:02 FORECAST ON THE 2'S-WX WALL

Today's Weather Story

THIS WEATHERCAST HAS BEEN PREPARED BY THE NBC2 WEATHER STAFF.

IT IS NOT A VERBATIM OF WHAT IS BEING SAID, BUT IS THE FORECAST FOR OUR AREA.

WARM AND SUNNY WEDNESDAY

Another beautiful day is on the way for Southwest Florida today. We start with mainly clear skies and continue with mostly sunny skies all day. Afternoon highs will reach into the low to mid 80s for most spots with winds coming in from the southeast at 5 - 10 mph. At the beached, highs will only reach into the upper 70s as the late afternoon sea breeze keeps things cooler there.

Through the next couple of days, you'll start to notice more humidity. That will allow a few more clouds to form and keep the overnight temperatures a bit warmer. Lows will be in the mid 60s and afternoon highs will warm into the mid 80s. There is the chance for a very stray shower on the sea breeze by the end of the week.

Into the weekend, a cold front will be approaching. That front could bring a few showers to the area Saturday night into Sunday. By Monday and Tuesday higher rain chances will be in place. Return to index of stories...

5:42 FORECAST ON THE 2'S-WX WALL

Weather Trends
