5:02 FORECAST ON THE 2'S-WX WALL

Today's Weather Story

THIS WEATHERCAST HAS BEEN PREPARED BY THE NBC2 WEATHER STAFF.

IT IS NOT A VERBATIM OF WHAT IS BEING SAID, BUT IS THE FORECAST FOR OUR AREA.

The warmth and humidity have certainly made a comeback this week, and that'll continue to be the trend as we head into the weekend.

For our Friday, we've got another very warm day on the way with highs back in the mid 80s away from the coast and around 80 degrees closer to the beaches.

With humidity levels on the rise, we'll be watching for some patchy thick fog to develop this morning , and some of this fog could even develop over our coastal waters during the day.

The overall increase in humidity and moisture will produce an uptick in cloud cover today, so don't expect our sky to be quite as sunny today compared to earlier in the week.

We'll even have enough moisture in place to produce a few isolated showers today, but the highest rain chances will shift deeper inland as we go through the afternoon.

Expect a mild and muggy Friday evening with some patchy clouds, temps in the mid to upper 60s and a good chance for fog again late tonight into Saturday morning.

The weekend forecast will feature plenty of warmth along with a blend of clouds and sunshine. Our temperatures will continue to climb into the mid 80s during the afternoon and mid to upper 60s at night.

Rain chances will stay relatively low through the weekend, but a passing shower can't be ruled out during the day with so much moisture in place.

The unseasonably warm weather rolls along next week until a weak cool front slides in Wednesday, bringing us a rain chance followed by a subtle cool down for the second half of the week. Return to index of stories...

5:32 FORECAST ON THE 2'S-WX WALL
