FORECAST-WXWALL

WX RUNDOWN:

BOATERS

EXTENDED

CITIES

THIS WEATHERCAST HAS BEEN PREPARED BY THE NBC2 WEATHER STAFF.

IT IS NOT A VERBATIM OF WHAT IS BEING SAID, BUT IS THE FORECAST FOR OUR AREA.

After seeing full sunshine from start to finish today, we're in store for a clear and very pleasant evening across Southwest Florida.

Humidity stays lows, and temperatures will be a little cool once again with lows dropping into the upper 50s along the coast and down into the low 50s deep inland by Sunday morning.

A little light fog may form for a few hours early Sunday morning, but visibility shouldn't be a big problem in the morning.

Sunday will end up being another warm and sunny day; temperatures will get a touch warmer than today with highs in the low to mid 80s, except along the coast where the sea breeze will cap temps in the upper 70s.

Our weather stays dry through the end of the weekend, and rain won't be a threat until the second half of the week.

The forecast stays mainly sunny and warm through mid week with afternoon temps warm than average, peaking in the mid 80s.

Toward the end of the week, we'll be tracking what could end up being a fairly strong storm system marching across the northern Gulf and into north Florida peninsula by Thursday. Rain and storms will be possible late Thursday into Friday, and some of these storms may pack a punch. After the storms move through, some cooler, sunnier weather arrives just into time for the upcoming weekend.

We'll need to keep a close eye on the forecast for the end of the week, but until then, our weather stays sunny and tranquil.
