FORECAST-WXWALL

THIS WEATHERCAST HAS BEEN PREPARED BY THE NBC2 WEATHER STAFF.

IT IS NOT A VERBATIM OF WHAT IS BEING SAID, BUT IS THE FORECAST FOR OUR AREA.

ANOTHER GREAT WEEKEND IN STORE

It was a picture-perfect end to the work week across Southwest Florida Friday, with plenty of sun and highs in the upper 70s. Clear skies will continue this evening, with temps falling into the 70s. Overnight lows will be cool, but not as cool as Thursday Night, with lows in the upper 50s.

The great weather will continue into the weekend. Expect mostly sunny skies on Saturday, with highs in the low to mid 80s.

Partly cloudy skies will prevail for Sunday, with a very slight chance of a rain shower and highs in the mid 80s.

Changes will arrive to start next week. A storm system will develop and push into our region on Monday. This will bring plenty of clouds as well as showers. Some storms will also be likely with this system as well. Highs on Monday will be in the low 80s.

There is still some uncertainty as to our quickly the system will exit the region. Sun & clouds will be likely through midweek, with highs in the low 80s. A few rain showers may also linger on Tuesday & Wednesday.

Drier and sunnier weather is expected to close next week, with temps holding in the low 80s. Return to index of stories...
