FIRST ALERT FORECAST-WXWALL

THIS WEATHERCAST HAS BEEN PREPARED BY THE NBC2 WEATHER STAFF.

IT IS NOT A VERBATIM OF WHAT IS BEING SAID, BUT IS THE FORECAST FOR OUR AREA.

QUIET WEATHER FOR FRIDAY

Low clouds and fog once again developed across the area Thursday morning, with sunshine returning by afternoon. Temps this evening will fall into the 60s with mostly clear skies. Low clouds and fog will once again develop overnight, with lows in the low 60s.

The quiet weather will remain in place for Friday. Expect the low clouds and fog to quickly burn off by mid-morning, with mostly sunny skies the rest of the day. Highs on Friday will climb into the mid 80s.

Some moisture will return into the region for the start of the weekend. We'll see mostly cloudy skies on Saturday, with a slight chance of rain shower. The best chance for rain looks to be in inland areas. Highs on Saturday will be in the mid 80s.

Drier weather works into the region on Sunday. Expect partly cloudy skies and highs again in the mid 80s.

Our next storm system will arrive in the region early next week. This will bring a return to cloud cover and scattered rain showers. Right now, the best chance for rain looks to be Tuesday.

Another weak system may be impact the area late next week. Return to index of stories...
