FORECAST-WXWALL

WX RUNDOWN:

CITIES

BOATERS

EXTENDED

THIS WEATHERCAST HAS BEEN PREPARED BY THE NBC2 WEATHER STAFF.

IT IS NOT A VERBATIM OF WHAT IS BEING SAID, BUT IS THE FORECAST FOR OUR AREA.

We're tracking some high clouds flowing in from the Gulf as we close out this Saturday evening, making for a partly to mostly cloudy sky through the first half of the night.

Most of these clouds are too thin to produce rain, so we'll keep the forecast mainly dry for the rest of the evening and overnight period.

Temperatures will drop very slowly tonight as cloud cover curbs the cooling process; temps should only fall to the mid 60s by early Sunday morning.

Clouds will thin out by morning, but we'll likely have a little fog to track through the mid-morning time frame.

Sunday will likely be a touch warmer than today with more places getting up to the 85-87 degree range, except for our coastal communities where the sea breeze should cap off temps in the low 80s.

After more sunny weather on Sunday, clouds will start increasing from the west Monday as moisture flows in ahead of our next cool front.

A few showers and storms could build in as early as Monday afternoon, and our forecast looks to stay unsettled through the first half of Tuesday.

A slight cool down is on the way by mid week with overnight lows dropping into the 50s Wednesday and Thursday mornings; daytime temps will be coolest Wednesday afternoon with temperatures only peaking in the mid to upper 70s.

Moisture will creep back into the picture toward the end of the week, bringing rain and even some thunderstorms to our forecast by the Thursday/Friday time frame. Return to index of stories...
