FIRST ALERT FORECAST-WXWALL

THIS WEATHERCAST HAS BEEN PREPARED BY THE NBC2 WEATHER STAFF.

IT IS NOT A VERBATIM OF WHAT IS BEING SAID, BUT IS THE FORECAST FOR OUR AREA.

"Sunny and dry stretch continues"

It was a beautiful start to the new month with sunshine and comfortable humidity levels. Over the next few days, our weather pattern will stay warm and sunny with rain back in the forecast by early next week.

After a cool start to the day with temperatures in the 50s and 60s, we'll see a quick warm up as we head throughout the mid day hours. We'll see sun-filled skies during the afternoon with just a cloud or two making it over to our side of the state. Daytime highs will return into the middle 80s, with a few inland spots making a run for the upper 80s. Cooler readings will be at the beaches and coastal areas due to the gulf breeze.

Mostly clear skies will remain in the forecast tonight, while temperatures dip into the upper 50s to lower 60s. There may even be a few areas of patchy fog by early morning.

High pressure will rule our weather over the next few days, keeping us in a rain free pattern. Winds will veer to the east and southeast allowing the warmth and humidity to move in, along with a few more clouds. Daytime highs will stay unseasonably warm as they climb into the middle to upper 80s through the end of the week. The weekend right now is looking good, with our next chance for rain by late Monday and into early Tuesday. Return to index of stories...

WEATHER-WX WALL

Return to index of stories...

putting on the weight as they should. Or it could be both.

AMY OSHIER/REPORTING

The answers parents are looking for may be in their child's bones. Many times a single
