MORE GREAT WEATHER FOR FRIDAY

It was a sun-filled and pleasant Thursday across the region, with highs climbing into the 80s. Expect comfortable conditions this evening, with temps falling into the 70s.

We will have one more cool overnight, with temps in the low 60s in the urban corridor and upper 50s in inland areas.

Our nice weather continues into Friday. Expect again mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies. We'll also have low humidity values and highs in the low to mid 80s.

The warmth and humidity slowly returns for the weekend. Saturday will again feature plenty of sun with highs in the upper 80s. The humidity really begins to arrive on Sunday, with partly cloudy skies and highs again in the upper 80s.

Our next storm system begins to push in to start next week. A few showers will be possible on Monday, with highs in the upper 80s.

Better rain chances arrive on Tuesday as the storm system rolls through the area. Expect plenty of clouds as well with highs in the mid 80s.

There is some uncertainty as to how quickly the system will clear the region. At this time, it looks like we will see some sun midweek next week, with highs holding in the mid 80s. Return to index of stories...

BREAKING DETAILS THIS MORNING IN AN ALLIGATOR ALLEY CRASH YESTERDAY - WHERE A WOMAN AND HER FOUR YEAR OLD SON WERE SENT TO THE HOSPITAL.

WE KNOW THE DRIVER, THE FATHER, WAS ARRESTED FOR NOT HAVING A DRIVER'S LICENSE.

WE ALSO KNOW THE MOM IS PREGNANT.

THEY WERE EJECTED FROM THE VEHICLE WHEN THEY CRASHED THURSDAY AFTERNOON ABOUT 25 MILES EAST OF THE TOLL BOOTH IN COLLIER COUNTY.

PARAMEDICS AIRLIFTED THE WOMAN TO LEE MEMORIAL.

THE FOUR-YEAR-OLD WAS SERIOUSLY HURT BUT AT LAST CHECK PARAMEDICS SAID HE WAS STABLE.

TROOPERS TELL US THE FATHER WAS DRIVING AND LOST CONTROL.

THIS IS OUT OF SACRAMENTO, CALIFORNIA.

INVESTIGATORS AND EMERGENCY CREWS ARE STILL ON SCENE OF A TOUR BUS CRASH ON INTERSTATE-5.

TEN PEOPLE ARE DEAD AFTER THE BUS COLLIDED WITH A FED-EX TRUCK. Of the nine DEAD, TWO ARE THE DRIVERS OF THE BUS AND TRUCK AND THE OTHER 7 WERE ONBOARD THE BUS.

It was a sun-filled and pleasant Thursday across the region, with highs climbing into the 80s. Expect comfortable conditions this evening, with temps falling into the 70s.

We will have one more cool overnight, with temps in the low 60s in the urban corridor and upper 50s in inland areas.

Our nice weather continues into Friday. Expect again mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies. We'll also have low humidity values and highs in the low to mid 80s.

The warmth and humidity slowly returns for the weekend. Saturday will again feature plenty of sun with highs in the upper 80s. The humidity really begins to arrive on Sunday, with partly cloudy skies and highs again in the upper 80s.

Our next storm system begins to push in to start next week. A few showers will be possible on Monday, with highs in the upper 80s.

Better rain chances arrive on Tuesday as the storm system rolls through the area. Expect plenty of clouds as well with highs in the mid 80s.

It was a sun-filled and pleasant Thursday across the region, with highs climbing into the 80s. Expect comfortable conditions this evening, with temps falling into the 70s.

We will have one more cool overnight, with temps in the low 60s in the urban corridor and upper 50s in inland areas.

Our nice weather continues into Friday. Expect again mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies. We'll also have low humidity values and highs in the low to mid 80s.

The warmth and humidity slowly returns for the weekend. Saturday will again feature plenty of sun with highs in the upper 80s. The humidity really begins to arrive on Sunday, with partly cloudy skies and highs again in the upper 80s.

Our next storm system begins to push in to start next week. A few showers will be possible on Monday, with highs in the upper 80s.

Better rain chances arrive on Tuesday as the storm system rolls through the area. Expect plenty of clouds as well with highs in the mid 80s.

There is some uncertainty as to how quickly the system will clear the region. At this time, it looks like we will see some sun midweek next week, with highs holding in the mid 80s. Return to index of stories...

MIAMI POLICE SAY SOME NFL PLAYERS, INCLUDING 49ERS QUARTERBACK COLIN KAEPERNICK, HAVE BEEN NAMED IN AN INCIDENT REPORT INVOLVING SEXUAL ASSAULT.

AN UNIDENTIFIED WOMAN IS CLAIMING SHE VISITED KAEPERNICK ON APRIL FIRST AT AN APARTMENT ON THE 47TH FLOOR OF THE VICEROY HOTEL IN MIAMI.

THERE SHE SAYS SHE MIXED DRINKS, SERVED SHOTS AND WAS OFFERED MARIJUANA.

THE WOMAN TOLD POLICE SHE WENT INTO ONE OF THE BEDROOMS AFTER BECOMING LIGHT-HEADED AND THAT 26-YEAR-OLD KAEPERNICK FOLLOWED.

SHE CLAIMS HE LEFT THE ROOM PARTLY UNDRESSED AND TWO OTHER PLAYERS PEEKED IN THE DOOR, SHE ORDERED THEM OUT.
