"Power lines popping everywhere. Lots if flames. The whole trailer was on fire."

Neighbors on sevigny road were awakened suddenly Tuesday morning to the smell of smoke, and the flicker of flames outside their window.

Fire crews sifted through the rubble but still haven't determined what caused the blaze

Sot Jewell

It could be anything, crack. A cigeratte on the ground, anything.

Thomas Jewell lives in suncoast and claims this house is known as a drug house.

Sot-Thomas Jewell neighbor

"Suncoast is pretty much a lot of meth and drugs."

Just last month deputies were at the house.

Sot no name

Police was here before and said there was a meth lab in there and they raided it one time before. I don't know what HAPPEND at that raid but I think they took some people to jail.

The house Had no running water or electricity. deputies suspect squatters were living there.

Property owners next door arrived to check in their mobile home Tuesday afternoon and found a squatter inside. Our cameras were rolling as the owner demanded the man to come outside.

Nats of yelling

Finally the man surrendered. his legs and feet covered in what appeared to be dirt or soot.

Sot no name

I thought it might be the squatters. He may be the squatter next door I don't know. He had smut all over him I don't know. It's a possibility. Return to index of stories...

FIRST ALERT FORECAST-WXWALL

THIS WEATHERCAST HAS BEEN PREPARED BY THE NBC2 WEATHER STAFF.

IT IS NOT A VERBATIM OF WHAT IS BEING SAID, BUT IS THE FORECAST FOR OUR AREA.

"A quiet week of weather"

"Mainly dry weather is expected warming temps through the weekend"

The week got off to a pleasant start with cool mornings and comfortable

afternoons. As we progress through the rest of the week, we'll continue to see a

mainly dry pattern with warming temperatures through the weekend.

As we head into the evening hours, expect mostly clear skies and temperatures

falling into the middle 70s. As winds go relatively calm overnight, a few areas

of fog may develop by tomorrow morning.

We'll start our Wednesday with temperatures in the lower to middle 60s, with

highs forecast to climb into the middle 80s during the afternoon. Mostly to

partly sunny skies will prevail and humidity levels will stay rather pleasant. A

weak cool front will try to push its way across north and central Florida

Wednesday and into Thursday, but will lose steam and fizzle out. All this means

for us, is a few more clouds across our skies and a very small window of

opportunity for a stray shower.

High pressure will continue to dominate our weather pattern as we head into the

upcoming weekend keeping our rain prospects very low. Temperatures will get a

big boost into the upper 80s, while inland spots reach the lower 90s with

increasing humidity. Our next chance for rain arrives Wednesday and into early

Thursday of next week. Return to index of stories...
