GOOD MORNING-1 SHOT

GOOD SUNDAY MORNING EVERYONE, I'M STACEY DEFFENBAUGH.

AND I'M CLIFTON FRENCH.

AFTER A RAINY AND STORMY SATURDAY --

METEOROLOGIST JASON DUNNING IS STANDING BY WITH WHAT WE CAN EXPECT FOR TODAY'S WEATHER.

JASON -- Return to index of stories...

6:02 FIRST ALERT FORECAST ON THE 2'S-WX WALL

After a cloudy and stormy Saturday, some very nice changes are in store today in the wake of a passing cool front.

The first change you'll probably notice today is the clouds and rain we had around Saturday are long gone. In its place, we've got clear skies and sunshine this morning, and we'll keep plenty of sunshine around through the afternoon.

Humidity levels are also considerably lower today, making the air feel more refreshing compared to the muggy weather we've had around for the last few days.

Temperatures even started out noticeably cooler this morning, but we'll get pretty warm by the afternoon with so much sunshine in place.

Expect our daytime highs to peak in the mid to upper 80s across Southwest Florida, but after sunset this evening, temperatures will be very comfortable again with overnight lows falling into the lower half of the 60s.

Our sky will continue to stay mainly sunny and quiet through the upcoming week, making way for some really warm temperatures.

Highs for most of next the week will peak in the upper 80s to low 90s with overnight lows in the mid to upper 60s.

Rain chances will stay relatively low next week with no approaching weather systems expected until late next weekend.

THIS WEATHERCAST HAS BEEN PREPARED BY THE NBC2 WEATHER STAFF.

IT IS NOT A VERBATIM OF WHAT IS BEING SAID, BUT IS THE FORECAST FOR OUR AREA. Return to index of stories...

6:32 FIRST ALERT FORECAST ON THE 2'S-WX WALL

SFL TEEN FACEBOOK APP-PKG

"How do you have that error? Well a method I came up with is something is wrong with errors, ns error, ns object, ns c which is basically an error code type which is pf error internal server"

Did you get all that? Because NBC 6's Guirola, and most of the rest of us, couldn't. That's why this teenager is going to work for billionaire and Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg and we're not.

Michael said, "The people at Facebook found out about me and then eventually Mark Zuckerberg found out about me and I was like, "Whoa! This was way too fast.'"

Michael, a child prodigy has conquered coding, a computer language used to build apps and games. It's landed him much success, money, and a future with Facebook. Zuckerberg interviewed Michael at the social media giant's headquarters.

Michael's digital dreams started when he was 13. Since then he's developed 13 apps. And he eventually designed one that would be the jackpot.

Michael said, "Right now it's the number one word game on the U.S. App Store and it's in the top 200 apps in the entire U.S."

Four Snaps is a social picture snapping and guessing game. Even though it's free, it's helped net this Miami teenager hundreds of thousands of dollars.

So what did Michael do with his newfound wealth? He helped pay for his parents new home and there's more. He also helped pay for his sisters tuition. Return to index of stories...
