ROBERT MOORE POTENTIAL VICTIMS-OC, VO, 2 SHOT

A FAMILY OF 15, RANGING IN AGE FROM 3 TO 70 YEARS OLD, IS FIGHTING TO PROTECT THEIR PRIVACY AFTER DETECTIVES SAY THEY WERE SECRETLY RECORDED INSIDE A FORT MYERS BEACH RENTAL HOME.

ROBERT MOORE, THE FORT MYERS CONTRACTOR ACCUSED OF PLANTING THE HIDDEN CAMERAS WAS DENIED BOND TODAY. DETECTIVES SAY HE'S A FLIGHT RISK.

STACEY DEFFENBAUGH SPOKE WITH THE FAMILY'S ATTORNEY WHO SAYS THEIR NUMBER ONE PRIORITY IS MAKING SURE THOSE VIDEOS DON'T LEAK ONTO THE INTERNET. Return to index of stories...

ROBERT MOORE POTENTIAL VICTIMS-BNR-PKG

More than 4,000 videos found on sd cards.

Lee county forensics-able to recover deleted files found in a search that they say were recorded by Robert Moore on hidden cameras.

On them- people changing clothes, using the restroom and having sex.

Sot Scot Goldberg,

I think the biggest challenge is, the biggest concerns are the children."

Scot Goldberg is representing a family of 15 who vacationed at this home on fort myers beach.

They met Moore, and called deputies after finding a hidden camera in an alarm clock.

Sot scot

They want someone here that they can count on, whether there's going to be a civil suit that comes out of this, that's not going to be our top priority."

What is the top priority?

The victims privacy.

Sot scot

When something like this happens the first thing that you think is the internet, and once they're out there. You can't stop it."

So far the videos have not been found in the public domain,

But one major piece of evidence is still missing.

Moore's laptop is no where to be found.

Sot scot

In the past we've been able to see that when things like this happen they're either found very quickly or they're gone forever. We're hoping that's what happened."

The investigation is ongoing, constantly revealing other disturbing details,

Like separate videos found from inside Moore's own home where he lived with his wife and her children.

It's possible more victims could come forward.

Sot scot

The biggest thing that concerns me as an attorney and a residents of lee county, is that somebody's going to think that southwest Florida is not a very good vacation spot, with this kind of thing happening. The important thing to know is that we have law enforcement that's all over this."

In lee co Stacey Deffenbaugh, nbc2. Return to index of stories...

Returning home humiliated -

Two weeks after his arrest in Tallahassee.

Dane Eagle

00:28 00:33

My biggest regret is that I've let you down but I assure you there is nobody who is more disappointed than me

State Representative Dane Eagle was pulled over at 2am leaving a Taco Bell.

Dash cam video shows his vehicle swerving and running a red light.

He was arrested for suspicion of d-u-i.

11:17 11:19

I don't believe I'm guilty of the charge that I have been arrested for

Eagle admits he was distracted that night.

He says he was eating and tired.

But not drunk.

He claims his last drink was hours before he was pulled over.

02:02 02:07

I do not dispute that I am guilty for driving recklessly and using poor judgement in declining the breath test

He denies having a drinking problem-

and has no plans to go to rehab.

He says instead - he's focused on regaining trust and working for his constituents.

12:16 12:21

Its embarrassing obviously his has been a humiliating situation for me and I intend to face it head on

His arrest - just the latest in a string of scandals surrounding Southwest Florida politicians --

Including former congressman Trey Radel's cocaine charges and former lee county commissioner Tammy Hall going to prison for wire fraud.

But Eagle says he's different because he's not guilty.

03:22 03:24

I will make this up to you.

And he's not giving up.

He plans to run for re-election this fall.

MORE HEAT ON THE WAY

It was a sun-filled and warm Wednesday across Southwest Florida, with highs in the upper 80s to low 90s. Expect quiet conditions again this evening, with temps falling into the 80s. Overnight lows will be in the upper 60s.

More heat is on the way for Thursday. We'll again see plenty of sun and highs climbing into the upper 80s to low 90s. A sea breeze will once again develop, keeping coastal areas cooler.

A touch more moisture enters the area on Friday, bringing more humidity and partly cloudy skies. Highs will be in the low 90s.

Mother's Day weekend still looks good. We'll see partly cloudy skies both days with highs in the upper 80s. An isolated shower will be possible both days, but most areas should stay dry.

We start next week with plenty of warmth and humidity, with temps holding in the upper 80s to low 90s. An isolated shower will be possible on Monday.

Rain chances will increase by midweek as our next storm system enters the region, bringing a good chance of showers and storms Tuesday into Wednesday.

FRIENDS CAUGHT THE VIOLENT CONFRONTATION ON VIDEO.

A 13 YEAR OLD IS ACCUSED OF BATTERY; FOR DRAGGING A 12 YEAR OLD TO THE GROUND. THEN REPEATEDLY HITTING HER.

A PARENT WAS WATCHING AND NEVER TRIED TO STOP THE FIGHT.

CAPE CORAL STUDENT FIGHT-BNR-PKG

I can't watch it. I can't watch it.

THIS CAPE CORAL MOM SAYS SEEING HER 12-YEAR-OLD DAUGHTER ON THE GROUND.GETTING HER HAIR PULLED AND being SMACKED ACROSS THE FACE IS TOO MUCH TO LOOK AT.

I was actually on the phone with her while all of this was going on, it was very disturbing.

THE PARENTS OF THE GIRL YOU SEE ON THE GROUND TELL US THE FIGHT HAPPENED ABOUT 20 FEET AWAY FROM THESE GATES TO GULF MIDDLE SCHOOL IN CAPE CORAL.

ANOTHER STUDENT RECORDED THE FIGHT MONDAY.THEN POSTED IT ONLINE.

THE PARENTS SAY WHAT'S WORSE is that THE FATHER OF THE 13-YEAR-OLD supposedly STOOD THERE AND DIDN'T DO ANYTHING.

He clearly let this go on for 45 seconds before he came up and did not intervene and basically said nothing to his daughter to stop it

THE PARENTS.WHO ASKED US TO HIDE THEIR FACES.SAY THE TWO GIRLS USED TO BE FRIENDS.

THEY RECENTLY HAD A FALLING OUT.AND SAY SOCIAL MEDIA MADE THE ALREADY TENSE SITUATION WORSE.

2:09 -

This just got out of hand with social media and other friends getting involved and saying what they had to say and pushing the other girls

WE STOPPED BY THE 13-YEAR-OLD'S HOME.

NO ONE WANTED TO GO ON CAMERA.

BUT HER FATHER TOLD ME OVER THE PHONE

-THE 12-YEAR-OLD HAD TAUNTED HIS DAUGHTER IN THE PAST.

-HE CLAIMS SHE HAD THREATENED TO "JUMP" HIS DAUGHTER JUST A FEW DAYS BEFORE.

-WHEN I ASKED IF THAT'S HIM YOU SEE IN THE VIDEO.NOT STEPPING IN.HE WOULDN'T GIVE ME A DIRECT ANSWER.

NATS.

THE VICTIM'S PARENTS SAY THEIR DAUGHTER HAS SOME SCRAPES AND BRUISES.BUT IS OTHERWISE OK.

THEY KNOW THE PHYSICAL WOUNDS WILL HEAL.NOW.THEY'RE WORRIED ABOUT THE EMOTIONAL ONES.

All I could do was cry. I mean, I couldn't save her. I couldn't be there to help her, to pick her up.
