FIRST WEATHER-ANIBOX STC

THIS WEATHERCAST HAS BEEN PREPARED BY THE NBC2 WEATHER STAFF.

IT IS NOT A VERBATIM OF WHAT IS BEING SAID, BUT IS THE FORECAST FOR OUR AREA.

GREAT WEATHER TO CLOSE THE WORK WEEK

After another unsettled and stormy day across Southwest Florida, scattered showers and a few storms will push through the area during the evening time frame. Temps this evening will fall into the 70s. The rain exits overnight with some partial clearing as overnight lows fall into the low 70s.

As promised, better weather is ahead for Friday. The storm system will be long gone, with plenty of sunshine expected during the daytime hours. Cooler air will also rush in, with highs only making it into the low 80s. It will be breezy on Friday, with a Small Craft Advisory in effect for the gulf waters.

The weekend still looks great, with plenty of sun both Saturday and Sunday. Barely a cloud in the sky is expected both weekend days, with highs in the mid 80s. Overnights will also be comfortable, with lows in the upper 50s to low 60s.

Next week looks pleasant and dry. We'll continue mostly sunny skies on Monday, with highs climbing into the upper 80s.

A touch more moisture works into the area midweek, resulting in a touch more cloud cover. Highs Tuesday and Wednesday will hold in the mid to upper 80s.

No major storm system looks to be on the horizon for all of next week, with temps holding in the upper 80s late week. Return to index of stories...
