YOU CAN SEE THE MEN BEATING HIM, THEN CARRYING HIS LIMP BODY AWAY.

15-YEAR-OLD TARIQ KHDEIR -- A US CITIZEN -- WAS VISITING HIS PALESTINIAN RELATIVES IN JERUSALEM WHEN FRIDAY'S ATTACK HAPPENED.

RELATIVES SAY THE TAMPA RESIDENT WAS ATTENDING A DEMONSTRATION AFTER THE DEATH OF HIS COUSIN, MOHAMMED ABU KHDEIR.

THE DEATH SPARKED A BACKLASH INCLUDING CLASHES WITH POLICE AT HIS FUNERAL FRIDAY.

AUTHORITIES ARE INVESTIGATION WHETHER THE KILLING WAS IN RETALIATION FOR THE MURDERS OF THREE JEWISH TEENAGERS.

TARIQ'S MOTHER SAYS THE SHE COULDN'T WATCH THE VIDEO OF HER SON'S BEATING.

"I don't want to see the video, I don't want to hear the video. I don't want to hear it. I don't know what I am going to hear. Am I going to hear him screaming? Am I going to hear him calling for help?"

SHE SAYS SHE SAW HER SON IN THE HOSPITAL, BUT HE REMAINS IN POLICE CUSTODY.

NOW A U-S ORGANIZATION IS TRYING TO MAKE SURE TARIQ IS GETTING THE HELP HE NEEDS.

"We're calling on the state department to do everything within its power to make sure that this American kid is released as soon as possible."

A SPOKESMAN FOR ISRAEL'S PRIME MINISTER SAYS THE INCIDENT SHOULD BE INVESTIGATED.

Obviously it is forbidden under Israeli law to beat up a suspect who have been handcuffed or something like that. That should not happen
