The weather pattern this week has continued to bring an onshore wind to our part of Florida and our morning showers are becoming routine. The forecast calls for a few of the showers in the Gulf of Mexico to continue drifting toward the coastline this evening. Some showers will move briefly over the beaches and continue inland before raining out. Isolated thunderstorms will continue across inland area along the sea breeze boundary. Some areas of heavy rain and frequent lightning are possible through sunset. Temperatures will drop to the upper 70's by tomorrow morning and recover to the lower 90's by the end of the day on Friday. Morning showers and afternoon, inland, thunderstorms are likely again tomorrow.

OMMY IRIZARRY AND HIS DAUGHTER, OCEANA, WERE HIT LAST MONTH -- WHILE WALKING ON CASPERSEN BEACH.

THE N-T-S-B JUST RELEASED A PRELIMINARY REPORT.

THE PLANE HADN'T BEEN FLOWN IN MORE THAN THREE MONTHS -- BUT IT STARTED UP THAT MORNING WITH NO PROBLEM.

AFTER ABOUT 15-MINUTES -- THE ENGINE LOST POWER.

THE PLANE WAS OVER WATER AT THE TIME --

The weather pattern this week has continued to bring an onshore wind to our part of Florida and our morning showers are becoming routine. The forecast calls for a few of the showers in the Gulf of Mexico to continue drifting toward the coastline this evening. Some showers will move briefly over the beaches and continue inland before raining out. Isolated thunderstorms will continue across inland area along the sea breeze boundary. Some areas of heavy rain and frequent lightning are possible through sunset. Temperatures will drop to the upper 70's by tomorrow morning and recover to the lower 90's by the end of the day on Friday. Morning showers and afternoon, inland, thunderstorms are likely again tomorrow.
