FIRST WEATHER-WX WALL

Forecast: Chilly start to the weekend

It will be a rather cold start by Florida standards this morning with lows anywhere from the mid 30s to around 40 degrees. Winds are beginning to turn out of the east across Southwest Florida which will keep our temperatures from reaching freezing in many areas. While the winds will help keep the freeze and frost away you'll feel a bit of wind chill if you're out early this morning.

As we go through the day it will remain breezy under mostly sunny skies. most areas should get to around 60 degrees this afternoon. It will be another chilly night as we head into Saturday with calmer winds allowing temperatures closer to the coast to get back down into the 30s. A bit of cloud cover by early morning should limit our temperature potential, but it still should be one of the colder nights we've had in the past few years.

Conditions warm considerably for the rest of the weekend with highs in the mid 60s Saturday afternoon and in the 70s Sunday afternoon. We'll wake up in the 40s Sunday morning.

No rain is in the forecast for the weekend, but by Tuesday morning a weak cold front will bring us a chance for showers. The warming trend continues next week with highs near 80 degrees possible. Return to index of stories...

FUGITIVE FRIDAY-OC-SS(5)

We're starting off our list this week with a repeat offender wanted in both Lee and Collier

Counties. Ronnie Abney has violated probation after arrests for burglary and grand theft in

both communities. To date, he's been booked eight times in Lee and three times in Collier on

an array of charges, including fraud, dealing in stolen property, the grand theft of a firearm and

numerous other infractions.

For his misdeeds, he's also be sent to state prison for a term of

roughly two years. This 48 year old felon has been known to maintain addresses in Cape Coral,

North Fort Myers and Golden Gate, and is likely moving around in stealth mode to avoid going

back to jail. Abney is 5'4", 170 pounds and has several tattoos, including a bulldog on his left

arm, a panther head on his back and Jessica 1988 inked on his right arm. And upon his arrest,

Abney will be held without bond.

Next up is Ryan Chrusz, a registered felon with a lengthy history of violence against women. In

addition to being wanted for a battery that occurred just days before Hurricane Irma, he also

has three domestic violence injunctions and one stalking injunction that he's been dodging. 38

year old Chrusz has an extensive history of domestic violence and has been booked nine times

in Lee County for multiple counts of burglary, contempt, resisting arrest, aggravated stalking

following the threat of death or injury, parole violations and battery.

To date, he's been sent to

state prison four times for a length of roughly five years. His victims say Chrusz is a master

manipulator and will lie or do whatever it takes to avoid going back to jail. He is 6'3", 200

pounds and has a tattoo of a Jesus fish on his right arm and Chinese symbols with the names

Kelli, Tyler and Logan on his left arm.

Also dodging deputies is the newest addition to Crime Stoppers 10 Most Wanted list. A warrant

for the arrest of Jamaal Dixon was issued last week after he violated terms of his probation

following a 2012 arrest for murder and armed robbery. Dixon was found guilty of shooting and

attempting to rob a man over a drug deal gone bad, and served just over three years of his five

year jail sentence.

After being released from prison, Dixon was supposed to follow a straight

and narrow path, but instead the 34 year old felon has resorted back to his old ways. Locally,

Dixon has been booked 21 times before in Lee County, with additional criminal charges in

Gadsden County. He is 5'9", 180 pounds and has several tattoos, including a tear drop on his

face, a joker on his back, the phrase "239 blood" on his right arm, the name Joan on his neck

and flames inked on his right hand.

And rounding out our first Fugitive Friday list of the year is Brittney Sarosy, a Fort Myers

woman wanted for her involvement in a series of drug deals in Lehigh Acres. According to

detectives, 23 year old Sarosy worked in tandem with a drug supplier and would frequently

meet up with buyers in search of crack cocaine.

She was eventually arrested for her role in the

drug deals, and was subsequently placed on probation in hopes that she'd turn her life around.

Sarosy has failed to do that, and now she's a woman on the run. Sarosy was last known to be

hotel hopping in the Palm Beach Boulevard area and is likely still hiding out in that part of town.

She is 5'2", 170 pounds and has a collection of tattoos, including the words King Ricco on her

chest, King Alex on her left leg, the name Noah on her right arm and Ms. Rodriguez on her left

arm. And upon her arrest, Sarosy will be held without bond. Return to index of stories...

FIRST WEATHER-WX TOUCH

--PKG--

NO MATTER WHAT YOUR WATCH, PHONE OR OTHER SLEEP TRACKING DEVICE IS TELLING YOU *SHOULD HAPPEN*, YOU KNOW EVERY NIGHT'S SLEEP IS DIFFERENT.

IN AN EFFORT TO STILL FUNCTION AND *FEEL* AWAKE, REGISTERED DIETITIAN WITH HOUSTON METHODIST, KRISTEN KIZER, SAYS A BRISK WALK MIGHT HELP.

"I think even just the fresh air of getting out, the fact that you stood up from your desk -- it does get your blood recirculating again and that can help wake you up."

THAT WILL BREAK THE MONOTONY THAT MAKES YOU SLEEPY. AND GOING OUTSIDE IN SUNLIGHT IS A NATURAL ENERGY BOOST!

"Our body is run more so by light, more than we think and it's partly. if you think maybe 200 years ago we were going to bed with the sun and, we are waking up with the sun, we had a very natural rhythm to part of our body, our hormone production is based in part off of nighttime, daytime, when the sun is coming up and our body is waking up or creating hormones that help wake us up."

IN A MORE SERIOUS SLEEP SITUATION - SNEAK AWAY FOR A CATNAP.

BUT LIMIT THOSE TO 15-OR-20 MINUTES.

"Longer than that you can risk throwing yourself off especially if it's later in the afternoon."

CAFFEINE IS NOT SO BAD -- WHAT YOU PUT IN IT IS!

"I personally don't drink black coffee, I probably will never drink black coffee but I'm mostly black coffee, 2 percent milk and some vanilla extract usually."

WHEN YOU GET THE LARGE DESSERT COFFEES, KIZER COMPARED IT TO DRINKING A HOT MILKSHAKE.

SHE SAID BE AWARE OF THE FEELING THAT YOU CAN JUSTIFY THOSE CALORIES OR "DESERVE" A TREAT FOR BEING SLEEP DEPRIVED. Return to index of stories...
