Today's Weather Story

THIS WEATHERCAST HAS BEEN PREPARED BY THE NBC2 WEATHER STAFF.

IT IS NOT A VERBATIM OF WHAT IS BEING SAID, BUT IS THE FORECAST FOR OUR AREA.You'll want the umbrella before you leave the house this morning as we track a few spotty showers through the day. Otherwise it's feeling pretty muggy and warm to start off our Tuesday with temperatures in the low 60s. These muggy conditions could bring a few areas of fog before sunrise. An area of low pressure has moved into the Gulf creating some dreary conditions for our Tuesday. Even with the added cloud cover, we will still make it up into the mid to upper 70s today.

Patchy fog is possible through the area tomorrow as we continue to stay warm and muggy through mid-week. A few lingering showers tomorrow but we will start to see more sunshine as that area of low pressure starts to move out. Highs in the upper 70s.

Rain conditions start to deteriorate by the end of the week as our high temperatures jump up into the upper 70s and 80s. This is just in time for our next cold front to bring cooler temperatures for the weekend. Return to index of stories...

5:30 WEATHER LEAD-WX WALL
