MORE SHOWERS TOMORROW
Hang in there! It's been a very wet few days in southwest Florida and it looks like we have more showers tonight and tomorrow morning to track. Rain totals at Page Field are now over 8.00" for the month of July and this puts at a surplus of over 3.00" this month! In fact, for the year we are now just about 'caught up' for rain. If the Page Field airport receives more that.75" tonight and tomorrow our yearly rainfall average will start to go above normal.
The forecast this evening does call for more showers to move in from the Gulf and for downpours and thunderstorms to develop inland. I expect some areas will continue to see on/off showers through midnight. An area of low pressure in the northern part of the state continues an onshore flow in southwest Florida and we will track more rain, at times, through tomorrow.
After tomorrow the weather looks to change noticeable. High pressure in the Atlantic will build across the state and basically cut off the flow of moisture. On Thursday and Friday I expect skies to be mostly sunny and temperatures to rebound in to the mid 90's with heat index readings above 100 degrees. We will trade off the rainy weather for hot weather and by the weekend there will be a few more afternoon storms to track.

Safety is always a concern on board an airplane.but FOOD safety is
normally NOT at the top of the list.

served on 4 different Delta Airlines flights from Amsterdam to the U.S.
SOT JAMES TONJES
The second bite that I took into the sandwich, I noticed something that
poked me in the top of my south very hard.
James Tonges was flying business class from Amsterdam to Minneapolis.when
he found the one-inch long needle.
In an eerie coincidence.a father and son on separate flights from
Amsterdam also made the disturbing discovery.

The food was prepared by Gate Gourmet.the world's largest catering company

whistleblower investigation by our ABC Affiliate, WSB.
SOT WHISTLEBLOWER-WSB
I can bring a gun in there if I want to, a bomb, anything. That's how easy
it is.
The investigation revealed rows of unsealed, vulnerable catering carts
waiting to be loaded onto flights.
It might have been a similar security gapthat allowed someone in Amsterdam
to plant those half dozen needles.
SOT Brad Garrett Nightline

AND FLOSSES REGULARLY. SO HER PARENTS WERE SHOCKED AT HER LAST DENTAL APPOINTMENT
"Hey, your child has 8 cavities!"
BECAUSE THERE WERE SO MANY, AUDREY HAD TO UNDERGO GENERAL ANESTHESIA TO HAVE THEM FILLED. DUKE PEDIATRIC DENTIST MARTHA ANN KEELS SAYS IT'S A SCENARIO THAT'S BECOMING MUCH MORE COMMON.
"Every new patient is coming in with a mouth full of cavities."
USING ANESTHESIA WHILE FILLING THEM COULD CAUSE VOMITING, NAUSEA, AND IN RARE CASES, BRAIN TRAUMA OR DEATH. THE COST CAN RANGE FROM TWO-THOUSAND TO FIVE-THOUSAND DOLLARS.
"The cost is expensive."
DOCTOR KEELS SAYS EATING AT BEDTIME WHEN THERE'S DECREASED SALIVA, DRINKING BOTTLED WATER THAT DOESN'T CONTAIN FLUORIDE AND CONSUMING SUGARY DRINKS ALL ARE CAVITY CULPRITS… PERHAPS THE WORST OFFENDER? SUGARY, GUMMY CANDIES THAT STICK BETWEEN THE TEETH. IF YOUR CHILD DOESN'T FLOSS OFTEN ENOUGH, THE CANDY STAYS AND THE TEETH ROT.
"Little kids aren't going, oh look, I got food stuck in my teeth."
SO WHAT CAN YOU DO? SKIP JUICE AND STICK TO WATER AND MILK. SEE A DENTIST BY AGE ONE. BRUSH TWICE A DAY - AND FLOSS DAILY. YOU CAN STILL ENJOY A TREAT OR TWO, JUST STICK TO THOSE THAT MELT.
"I'm a huge proponent of M&Ms or Hershey Kiss."

"Every industry is on the chopping block - the guillotine falls in just 168 days."
A REPORT RELEASED TODAY. COMMISSIONED BY THE AEROSPACE INDUSTRIES ASSOCIATION. INDICATES DEFENSE WILL BE HIT HARDEST.
"The DOD hit is really 1.5 million jobs."
THE SPENDING REDUCTION WOULD NOT AFFECT TROOPS ON THE FRONT LINES IN AFGHANISTAN.
BUT WOULD IMPACT PROCUREMENTS. AND LEAD TO WHAT SOME HAVE CALLED A "CRITICAL SHORTAGE OF MILITARY RESOURCES."
THE PENTAGON NOW ACKNOWLEDGES. SEQUESTRATION IS ON ITS RADAR.
