Our mornings will start off mostly sunny and dry with a typical summertime pattern in place through the rest of the week. Afternoon clouds will mix in with our sunshine today, with a few showers and storms developing along the seabreeze during peak heating. Most of the storm activity will be just to the east of I-75, however one or two of those could eventually make their way closer to the coast.
Temperatures will quickly climb into the lower to middle 90s, but it will feel much hotter as heat index values will be well over 100°, especially across our inland communities.
Tonight, skies will go mostly clear and it will be another humid overnight period as lows settle into the middle 70s.

The presidential race has taken a nasty turn.
Republican Mitt Romney lashed out at President Obama.
SOT Romney
"THIS IS WHAT AN ANGRY AND DESPERATE PRESIDENCY LOOKS LIKE."
.telling voters in Ohio that Mr. Obama's campaign tactics have taken the
presidency to a new low.
SOT Romney
"SO MR. PRESIDENT, TAKE YOUR CAMPAIGN OF DIVISION AND ANGER AND HATE BACK TO
CHICAGO AND LET US GET ABOUT REBUILDING AND REUNITING AMERICA.'
The Obama campaign shot back -- saying that Romney seemed "unhinged."
It was this remark by Vice President Joe Biden -- to a heavily black
audience in Virginia -- that set Romney off.
SOT Biden
"HE'S GOING TO LET THE BIG BANKS ONCE AGAIN WRITE THEIR OWN RULES. UNCHAIN
WALL STREET. THEY'RE GOING TO PUT YA'LL BACK IN CHAINS."
The Vice-President's defenders noted that although "back in chains" was in-
artfully phrased, Republicans have used a similar metaphor about "
unshackling" the private sector.
But this wasn't the only elbow thrown by the Obama campaign. The President
made reference to the story about Romney strapping the family dog to the
roof of his car during a road trip.
SOT Obama
"GOVERNOR ROMNEY EXPLAINED HIS ENERGY POLICY THIS WAY: YOU CAN'T DRIVE A CAR
WITH A WINDMILL ON IT. / NOW I KNOW HE'S TRIED SOME OTHER THINGS ON TOP OF
A CAR."
The voters are riled up too.
NATS - Vegas protestors
"hey hey, ho ho, Ryan's budget's got to go"
In Las Vegas, Romney's running-mate Paul Ryan was greeted by hundreds of
protestors angry about his ideas to cut entitlement spending.
The Obama and Romney campaigns blame each other for this decidedly ugly turn
in the campaign. And there's no sign things are going to calm down anytime
soon.

"SO MR. PRESIDENT, TAKE YOUR CAMPAIGN OF DIVISION AND ANGER AND HATE BACK TO

REPUBLICANS HAVE USED A SIMILAR METAPHOR ABOUT "UNSHACKLING" THE PRIVATE SECTOR.
