THIS WEATHERCAST HAS BEEN PREPARED BY THE ABC7 WEATHER STAFF.
IT IS NOT A VERBATIM OF WHAT IS BEING SAID, BUT IS THE FORECAST FOR OUR AREA.
Sunday will bring very little change when it comes to our weather pattern. With a very moist flow coming in off the Gulf of Mexico, we'll continue to see warm and humid conditions along with showers and storms.
Mostly to partly sunny skies will start our morning with a few downpours redeveloping along the coastal and beach locations. Through the midday hours, a few showers and storms will push their way across the urban corridor before sailing deep inland during the afternoon.
With a mix of sun and clouds overhead, temperatures will be one or two degrees on either side of our average, with most locations topping out in the upper 80s to low 90s. With plenty of humidity, heat index values will have no problem climbing into the low 100s.
As the sun sets, quieter conditions are in store as the clouds should begin to thin out just a bit overnight. Lows will settle in the middle to upper 70s with a small chance of a passing shower or two.
For the upcoming week, plenty of moisture will remain across the peninsula keeping more clouds than sun across our skies at times. Rain prospects will also remain around 50%.
Tropical Storm Helene made landfall on the Central Mexican coastline yesterday and has now weakened into a remnant low. In the Central Atlantic, Hurricane Gordon continues to pack winds of 105 mph while it races off to the East towards the Azores. Another tropical wave located 600 miles West of the Cape Verde Islands, has a high chance of becoming our next storm in the next 24 to 48 hours as conditions are favorable for development. Most of the models keep this on a westerly path, so this is something worth watching in the coming days.

MUNI CAME BACK WITH ITS RESPONSE -- A BUS CARD SAYING ITS POLICY PROHIBITS DISCRIMINATION AND IT CONDEMNS STATEMENTS THAT DESCRIBE ANY GROUP AS SAVAGES.

IN A MATTER OF SECONDS.

MOST OF US ARE AWARE OF THE DANGERS OF IDENTITY THEFT.
BUT THERE'S A NEW WAY CROOKS ARE GETTING ACCESS TO YOUR PERSONAL CREDIT INFORMATION.
THEY'RE AFTER YOUR CREDIT REPORT.
WHICH GIVES THEM INSTANT ACCESS TO YOUR ACCOUNT NUMBERS, SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBERS.
AND EVERYTHING ELSE YOU CONSIDER VALUABLE.
AND IT CAN HAPPEN IN A MATTER OF SECONDS.

IT'S OFTEN SAID THAT THERE ARE NO SECRETS IN CYBERSPACE - JIM STICKLEY IS SHOWING US PROOF OF THAT.
WEBSITES WITH HEAVY TRAFFIC - FOR AN ILLEGAL MARKET WITH BUYERS AND SELLERS FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD.
SO WHAT ARE THEY AFTER?
"This is a credit report "
YOUR CREDIT INFORMATION - INCLUDING YOUR ACTUAL CREDIT REPORT.
"I just went online.it took about 10 seconds to pull it up."
CYBER SECURITY EXPERT JIM STICKLEY SAYS IT'S THE EQUIVALENT OF FINANCIAL TERRORISM. WITHIN SECONDS WE WERE ABLE TO PULL UP DOZENS OF CREDIT REPORTS --SOME HERE ARE FREE -- OTHERS GO TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER -- AND THEY'RE COMPLETE WITH NAMES, BIRTHDATES, SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBERS - EVEN ACCOUNT NUMBERS.
"it's happening all over the world, a criminal might be sitting in north korea and they are the ones ripping you off."
SO HOW ARE THEY DOING IT?
"I thought I was as cautious as anybody."
THEY ARE USING CONSUMERS LIKE PEGGY MAYES IN EL CAJON.
"Someone had to have gotten my credit card number and made new credit cards."
EXPERTS SAY IT WORKS LIKE THIS: THIEVES WILL HACK INTO AN UNSUSPECTING CONSUMER'S ONLINE WHAT ACCOUNT? ACCOUNT AND USE THEIR CREDIT CARD TO PURCHASE ANOTHER PERSON'S CREDIT REPORT.
THEN, THEY WILL POST THAT CREDIT REPORT ON WEBSITES LIKE THIS ONE -- THAT ALLOW HACKERS TO BID ON THE STOLEN CREDIT REPORTS.
- IT'S A GATEWAY FOR THIEVES-- TO HAVE INSTANT ACCESS TO ALL OF YOUR INFORMATION AND ACCOUNT NUMBERS.
"Til you've gone through it you just have no idea what it does. I have probably spent 20 hours a week for the last 4 months trying to get this straightened out."
"I don't know how you would get this to stop. because once the info is out there. it's out there. 23 you social security is with you for life. it's not like a credit card number where if it's stolen you can change it."
Thanks to police reports and hard work. Peggy was able to get all her money back, but the whole incident has left her fearful.
"I just check every single day and i make sure my credit cards are secure."

THAT'S ACCORDING TO OUR NEWS PARTNERS AT THE NAPLES DAILY NEWS.
ADDING THE JOBS WOULD COST ABOUT 320-THOUSAND DOLLARS.
THE FIRE DEPARTMENT SAYS IT WOULD ALSO MEET A GOAL OF STAFFING THREE FIREFIGHTERS ON EACH TRUCK OR ENGINE THAT RESPONDS TO A CALL.
SOME COUNCIL MEMBERS, AND THE CITY'S MAYOR, DON'T THINK EXTRA STAFF IS NECESSARY, BECAUSE MOST OF THE CALLS ARE MEDICAL.
