DAILY AFTERNOON RAIN THIS WEEK
High pressure building across the eastern United States is setting up to deliver us some afternoon rain each day this week. The winds are coming around to a northeasterly direction which is expected to continue through the weekend. The morning weather forecast should be mainly dry for the rest of the week with lows in the mid 70's. Afternoon high temperatures will climb to the low 90's for the next few days and with building clouds each afternoon we will track showers and downpours developing inland and moving back toward the Gulf of Mexico by late day. Dry air and comfortable temperatures don't look to be in the cards for us for the rest of the week.
In the Atlantic we continue to monitor storms that are not a threat to Florida. Leslie and Michael are still on the map and moving north toward colder waters and eventual demise. A new tropical depression farther south could develop into Tropical Storm Nadine, but this potential storm is also expected to curve away from the United States.

WE HAVE AN IMPORTANT WARNING TONIGHT FOR ANYONE WHO USES AN I-PHONE OR AN I-PAD.
A FLAW IN BOTH THOSE PRODUCTS COULD BE PUTTING YOUR PRIVATE INFORMATION AT RISK -- AS ABOUT ONE MILLION PEOPLE HAVE ALREADY FOUND OUT.
KERRY SANDERS EXPLAINS.
Return to index of stories...
THE I-PHONE IS AMONG THE MOST POPULAR CELLPHONES IN THE WORLD.
AND EACH OF THE HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS OF I-PHONES AND IPADS OUT THERE IS ASSIGNED A UNIQUE SERIES OF NUMBERS AND LETTERS.
UNTIL LAST WEEK.IT WAS ASSUMED THE SO-CALLED "U-D-I-D" NUMBERS WERE SECURELY PROTECTED FROM HACKERS.
THEN A GROUP CALLED "ANYNOMOUS" POSTED ONE MILLION OF THOSE U-D-I-D NUMBERS ONLINE.
EXPERTS SAY IT'S THE KEY THAT COULD ALLOW A HACKER TO TRACK YOUR PHONES LOCATION --- REVEALING WHERE YOU ARE --- WHERE YOU'VE BEEN, AS WELL AS ALLOWING ACCESS TO LOG ONS TO YOUR ACCOUNTS WITHOUT THE NEED FOR A PASSWORD.
sot-BOB SULLIVAN/NBCNEWS.COM
"We're gonna see people break into people's social media accounts, apps, figure out where they've been and what they're doing, maybe even who they're talking to. There's a lot that will happen with these UDIDs, its a great playground for hackers now to start to really experiment."
FOR IPHONE OWNERS: A HUGE SURPRISE.
SOT CHRISTINE MONTANO/IPHONE OWNER
"Nobody talks about anti-virus program for the iPhone, so I kind of assumed that nobody could ever get in."
ANONYMOUS --- QUICK TO BLAME BIG BROTHER --- SAID IT AQUIRED 12-MILLION U-D-I-D NUMBERS FROM AN FBI SURVAILANCE PROGRAM.
BUT THE FBI SAYS ITS NOT THE SOURCE, SAYING IN A STATEMENT ON TWITTER: "We never had info in question. Bottom Line: TOTALLY FALSE."
AND NOW AN ORLANDO COMPANY THAT WORKS WITH MULTIPLE ONLINE MAGAZINE PUBLISHERS - BLUETOAD DOT COM - SAYS IT'S THE INADVERTENT SOURCE.
sot PAUL DEHART/CEO/BLUETOAD.COM
"In response to this, we've brought in an independent team to begin evaluating and confirming what happened and putting things in place so that this doesn't happen again.
KERRY: Is that door closed?
DEHART: The door is absolutely closed."

"PAM" -- WHO DIDN'T WANT HER FACE SHOWN -- SAID SHE HAD JUST PULLED UP THE SAME QUICK TRIP -- JUST AS THE ROBBERS WERE RUNNING OUT.
"The first thing I think of when I seen that gun, was I was never going to see my son, again. Cause it was that big, it was like right in your face."
PAM BELIEVES IMAGES LIKE THIS -- A SCENE OF GUNS AND VIOLENCE SHOULD PROMPT CHANGES IN CONVENIENT STORE SAFETY.
"I think there should be more than one person in a Quick Shop or those stores at night, there should be security outside definitely, one person should not be alone in the store at all."
BUT FOR NOW, PAM WANTS JUSTICE.
"This has been going on, I just hope other people don't have to go through this, and there can be some kind of stop to this."
