THIS WEATHERCAST HAS BEEN PREPARED BY THE ABC7 WEATHER STAFF.
IT IS NOT A VERBATIM OF WHAT IS BEING SAID, BUT IS THE FORECAST FOR OUR AREA.
Some changes are in the forecast as we head into the weekend as our breezy northeasterly flow begins to loosen its grip on Southwest Florida.
A mostly sunny and dry start is in the cards for our Saturday morning with temperatures ranging from the middle to upper 70s along the coast/urban corridor to the low 70s across our deep inland spots. Our skies will eventually turn partly sunny throughout the day, although most areas should stay fairly dry through the lunch hour with a few spotty showers across the Lake Okeechobee region.
Highs will top out near normal values in the lower 90s before we see a scattering of some downpours and storms during the late afternoon and early evening hours. Rain areas will favor the urban corridor and coastal locations as easterly flow keeps the storm movement from east to west.
Tonight, our weather will stay quiet with clearing conditions and lows in the middle 70s, with a very similar pattern shaping up for our Sunday.
Early in the week, moisture will be on the increase across Southwest Florida as our winds take a turn out of the southwest. This will keep a moist tropical airmass in place with more sun than clouds along with an earlier start to our shower and thunderstorm pattern. Temperatures through the middle part of the week will run a couple of degrees below 90 due to the extra cloud cover and increased rain chances.
As far as the tropics are concerned, it's pretty quiet close to home. The only system we are tracking is Nadine in the central Atlantic. As of this morning, Nadine has strengthened into a category one hurricane with 75 mph winds. Nadine will continue on a northeasterly track which keeps it out to sea and far from any land areas. A tropical wave located about 800 miles due east of the windward islands continues on a westerly path as it remains in a disorganized state.

CURIOSITY COULDN'T KILL THIS CAT.
MEET BOB-BOB- HE'S FROM OHIO BUT ENDED UP ALMOST A THOUSAND MILES AWAY RIGHT HERE IN ORLANDO-
JUST BY CLIMBING INTO THIS SUITCASE
"I thought how in the world did this happen? She said that I just looked like.it was such a strange look on my face she knew something was wrong and I said 'you'll never guess what's in here'"
BUT IT WAS ETHEL MAZE'S 14 MONTH-OLD CAT.
HE'D CLIMBED IN WHEN NO ONE WAS LOOKING AND A FRIEND ZIPPED UP THE SUITCASE.
THAT FRIEND, MIKE GROLEAU, WAS HELPING PACK UP FOR THE GROUP'S ANNUAL TRIP TO DISNEY EARLY MONDAY MORNING.
HE SAID HE THOUGHT HE SAW SOMETHING MOVE IN THE SUITCASE, BUT DIDN'T GIVE IT A SECOND THOUGHT.
"It was early in the morning, I'm not fully up yet so maybe my eyes are just playing tricks on me, it never dawned on me."
SO THE BAG AND BOB BOB WERE LOADED INTO THE CAR, CHECKED AT THE AIRPORT, AND SENT ON THE TRIP WITH THE REST OF THE PLANE'S LUGGAGE.
ETHEL SAYS WHEN SHE FOUND HER CAT IN THE BAG, SHE WAS SCARED HE DIDN'T SURVIVE.
"Well I'm just amazed that he made it because he was just soaked when I got him."
BUT YOU CAN SEE NOW HE'S HAPPY AND HEALTHY, GLAD TO SPEND SOME UNEXPECTED TIME WITH HIS OWNER.
"Seems like he's eating this up, all the attention, because we're so happy that he survived we keep hugging him and telling him how much we love him"
BOB BOB'S TRIP HOME WON'T BE IN A SUITCASE THIS TIME BUT A PET CARRIER, AND THE OWNERS ARE TOLD THAT IT'LL COST THEM 65 DOLLARS.

WHEN IT COMES TO BREAST IMPLANTS - SIZE REALLY MATTERS.
"I wanted to look bigger but I don't want to be like falling over and I didn't also want to see like you can't see change from what I had before so i think my biggest issue was getting that right size without overdoing and doing it too small because then you're kind of like stuck."
TO SEE WHAT SHE WILL LOOK LIKE AFTER SURGERY STEPHANIE CRISTOBAL IS GETTING HER PICTURE TAKEN WITH THE VECTRA SYSTEM AT MIAMI PLASTIC SURGERY. 6 CAMERAS TAKE SIMULTANEOUS PHOTOS TO CREATE 3-D IMAGES OF THE PATIENT. PLUS BEFORE AND AFTER ANIMATION.
"And then we can literally try different implants from different manufacturers inside of that picture and show them how different size implants are going to look."
"Breast augmentation is the most popular plastic surgery in the country. Last year more than 300 thousand women got implants."
CHOOSING THE RIGHT ONE CAN BE TRICKY
"I never have patients who come back to me after surgery and say you made me too big never see it. But I do see patients especially at a year after surgery who say you know what I love my implants love the way I look but if I had to do it all over again i'd go a little bit bigger. So I think this will help us in the process."
THE VECTRA SYSTEM ALSO GIVES THE SURGEON USEFUL INFORMATION LIKE THE EXACT VOLUME OF EACH BREAST.
"That helps us in planning because sometimes we need to use a bigger size implant on one side versus the other so this is helpful for that."
"I think it's insane how our technology is so highly advanced and we're now finally able to see what we would look like after surgery before the surgery."
GIVING PATIENTS. A BETTER IDEA OF WHAT TO EXPECT.
