SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS EACH AFTERNOON
What's on the docket for the next several days? Easy, lots of clouds and a few thunderstorms each day.
We've already seen a large amount of clouds the past several daysb - will we see blue skies and sunshine? Sure, but overall the clouds will win, and they will be slow to erode. There's a weak front just to our north. It's slowly drifting south, and it's causing our winds to be from the southwest.
This time of the year that means the sky is peppered with numerous clouds.
That front will wash out later tonight. That's good news for us because it means our weather will begin to improve - it'll just take a few days.
Tomorrow will be partly cloudy with storms popping up just after the noon hour and pushing inland.
This weekend will be slightly wet because the sea breeze will be pinned along the coastline and urban corridor. Plan your weekend around the afternoon and early evening storms!
There's nothing of interest in the tropics right now.
Oh, and by the way - fall begins at 10:49 AM on Saturday!

THAT CAN LEAD TO THE SUDDEN ONSET OF O-C-D, SEPARATION ANXIETY, ANOREXIA, BED-WETTING, TICS, OR THE WORSENING OF MOTOR SKILLS AND HANDWRITING.
"I now hear and see patients all the time who have these kinds of sudden onset illnesses. We put them on antibiotics and the illnesses clear up in a week or two."

SOT--Justin Mickens
35:09 i don't even talk to her son. I don't even hang around her son.
Justin Mickens is the teen Feleica went after. He says he's no bully.
35:09 Me: so that is not true?
Him: no that aint correct
But when Felecia's son told her there was more trouble this week. She decided to walk here to the bus stop with her son
And she says Mickens started the bullying once again.
So she went after him.
SOT--Justin Mickens
35:00 she chased me on the bus and grabbed me by the back of my head.
The bus surveillance camera caught it all.
Justin is the first one on the bus.
Felecia follows behind--and the chaos begins immediately.
Felecia was arrested for child abuse and trespassing--
And everyone involved hopes this is the end to fighting.
SOT--Justin Mickens
36:25 as long as they don't say nothing to me. I won't say nothing to them.

When ABC News first met Wayne Watson in 2007 the Colorado man was obsessed
with his popcorn snacks.
NATS - WAYNE WATSON
"I ate about two bags a day every day."
That was the case for ten years until his doctor diagnosed him with a rare disease: popcorn lung.
Watson says he now has about 53 percent lung capacity.
SOT - DOCTOR CECILE ROSE, NATIONAL JEWISH MEDICAL CENTER:
"You cannot blow air out./ the very small airways / become blocked with scar tissue and inflammation."
Popcorn lung is usually found in plant workers exposed to high levels of
diacetyl AN ARTIFICIAL flavoring used to give popcorn that buttery taste.
Watson sued the popcorn maker and the supermarket that sold it claiming the
companies never warned consumers that diacetyl also recently linked to
Alzheimer's was dangerous.
SOT - WAYNE WATSON
"They thought that no consumer would ever be exposed to enough of it to make
a difference well they rolled the dice and they lost."
A Jury agreed.even though defense attorneys argued Watson's health
problems stemmed from his years of working with carpet-cleaning chemicals.
Yesterday, Watson was awarded damages totaling 7-point-2 million dollars.
He plans on giving money to charity.
One thing HE SAYS HE won't be doing is buying microwave popcorn.
SOT WAYNE WATSON
"I don't hardly ever eat popcorn anymore. Occasionally, once in a while, we
'll pop some on the stove the old fashion way."
STANDUP WINICK
"Glister-Mary Lee.the popcorn maker in this case told a local TV station it
was disappointed with the jury's decision.
The supermarket chain.Kroger.plans to appeal the judgment.
