We've enjoyed three days in a row with comfortable humidity and incredibly low rain chances, but we'll have to make a few tweaks to our Sunday forecast.
Some Atlantic moisture will work across the peninsula and build into Southwest Florida today, produce a few more clouds and bringing back the chance for a passing afternoon shower. Our rain chance will still be pretty low, ranging from 20-30%, but at least a few isolated showers are worth mentioning during the second half of our Sunday.
Aside from a few hit-or-miss showers, we'll enjoy a mix of sun and clouds during the afternoon with our highs close to 90. The breeze will also stay fairly strong through the day with winds out of the east between 5-10 and gusts up to 20 mph.
Another change we'll notice today is an uptick in humidity. While we don't expect to get back to the oppressive summertime humidity levels, the air won't be quite as pleasant as what we've experience for the last few days.
We'll also see a momentary end to low in the upper 60s. Even though our sky will stay mostly clear through tonight, temperatures will only manage to cool into the low to mid 70s.
Monday will be very similar. Our sky will become partly cloudy during the afternoon, and a few showers will pop up as well. Overall, our rain chance will be close to 20-30%, so most spots will stay dry.
The good news for those of us who got used to the lower humidity and lows in the upper 60s is we expect to get another dose of dry air Tuesday. This dry air should considerably lower humidity and rain chances Tuesday and Wednesday, and by Wednesday morning, we should see temperatures return the mid to upper 60s.
Signs point to an even stronger cool front making it to Southwest Florida by the upcoming weekend, so this is something we'll be tracking closely throughout the week. Before the cool front arrives, it looks like scattered rain will be possible Thursday and Friday before the slightly cooler and less humid air arrives by the end of the week.

PKG SCRIPT:
With less than three weeks left until Election Day, the presidential
contenders have intensified their effort to court undecided women voters.
SOT Obama
"MY MOM WAS A SINGLE MOM."
SOT Romney
"IT'S THE SINGLE MOM WHO DOESN'T KNOW WHETHER THEY'LL BE ABLE TO PUT FOOD ON
THE TABLE AT THE END OF THE WEEK."
Polls show President Obama maintains his advantage among women voters, but
Republican challenger Mitt Romney has narrowed the gap.
Campaigning in Iowa yesterday, Mr. Obama touted the equal-pay measure he
signed into law and attacked his Republican rival for not supporting it.
SOT Obama
"WHEN YOUNG WOMEN GRADUATE, THEY SHOULD GET EQUAL PAY FOR EQUAL WORK. THAT
SHOULD BE A SIMPLE QUESTION TO ANSWER. WHEN GOVERNOR ROMNEY WAS ASKED ABOUT
IT, HE -- HIS CAMPAIGN SAID, WE'LL GET BACK TO YOU."
For his part, Romney says women have suffered under President Obama, and he'
ll do more to help them.
SOT Romney
"WHY IS IT THAT THERE ARE 3.6 MILLION MORE WOMEN IN POVERTY TODAY THAN WHEN
THE PRESIDENT TOOK OFFICE? THIS PRESIDENT HAS FAILED AMERICA'S WOMEN."
Under fire from Democrats for his pledge to end funding for Planned
Parenthood, Romney has taken to the airwaves to discuss his position on
abortion and contraception.
NATS -
"TURNS OUT, ROMNEY DOESN'T OPPOSE CONTRACEPTION AT ALL. IN FACT, HE THINKS
ABORTION SHOULD BE AN OPTION IN CASES OF RAPE, INCEST OR TO SAVE A MOTHER'S
LIFE."
Women's health activists say Romney is trying to mislead Americans about his
plan.
They point to his support for legislation that would allow employers to deny
health coverage for procedures they find morally objectionable.
Democrats think Romney gave them an opportunity during Tuesday's debate when
he talked about his staff bringing him "binders full of women." That phrase
was the number one searched item on Google yesterday.

THIS WEATHERCAST HAS BEEN PREPARED BY THE ABC7 WEATHER STAFF.
IT IS NOT A VERBATIM OF WHAT IS BEING SAID, BUT IS THE FORECAST FOR OUR AREA.
More clouds than sunshine dominated our skies yesterday, and Thursday will bring some changes to our weather pattern.
The upper level disturbance responsible for the mostly cloudy skies and scattered downpours continues to move out this morning. We'll start the day with a few patchy clouds and even some areas of fog, especially for those that saw the rain yesterday evening.
As that moisture pushes eastbound, some drier air in the mid and upper levels of the atmosphere will sink its way across the peninsula. This means more sunshine is in store for today, and as a result temperatures will get a boost back into the upper 80s. With some residual moisture, we can't rule out a couple of isolated showers, however the vast majority of Southwest Florida should stay dry.
Tonight, clearing skies will prevail and lows will dip into the low 70s with a few upper 60s north and inland.
Our Friday will consist of partly sunny skies and the chance for a couple of showers, as a weak cool front approaches North Florida. This front will eventually wash out across the state by Saturday leaving us with partly sunny skies and highs in the middle to upper 80s. High pressure will build in across the southeast states, bringing pleasant conditions Sunday with plenty of sunshine and even a dip in our humidity levels. Our sunny weather pattern will persist through early next week with rain prospects remaining slim to none.

IT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN LIFE AND DEATH.
THOUSANDS OF AMERICANS ARE WAITING FOR KIDNEY DONATIONS.
AND THERE ARE LOTS OF REASONS WHY IT'S TAKING SO LONG:
TOO FEW DONORS, PROBLEMS FINDING A MATCH. THE LIST GOES ON.
BUT THERE'S ONE REASON YOU MAY NOT HAVE HEARD BEFORE.
DOREEN GENTZLER HAS THE STORY.
Return to index of stories...
"I've never had time to volunteer for anything. I've never been in a position to write a check for something I believe in. But this was something I could do."
66-YEAR-OLD CHRISTINE HALL WANTED TO DONATE A KIDNEY TO A TOTAL STRANGER.
SHE SAYS SHE DIDN'T HAVE ANY BIG REASONS FOR DOING SO. JUST A DESIRE TO GIVE BACK.
"This was my chance to make a difference and do something for somebody."
BUT EVEN THOUGH SHE HAD THE WILL. SHE DIDN'T HAVE THE WEIGH -- LITERALLY. SHE WEIGHED TOO MUCH.
DOCTORS TOLD HER SHE WAS TOO FAT TO DONATE. A PROBLEM AFFECTING MILLIONS OF AMERICANS AND POTENTIAL ORGAN DONORS.
"It's really a national epidemic."
DR. MATTHEW COOPER IS DIRECTOR OF KIDNEY TRANSPLANTATION AT MEDSTAR GEORGETOWN UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL. HE SAYS THEY DON'T KEEP TRACK OF HOW MANY DONORS ARE OBESE, BUT HE'S BEING FORCED TO TURN MORE AND MORE PEOPLE AWAY BECAUSE OF THEIR WEIGHT.
"One of the things that we have learned is that obesity in organ donors is quite dangerous."
THAT'S BECAUSE BEING OVERWEIGHT IS A MAJOR RISK FACTOR FOR CHRONIC ILLNESSES THAT CAN LEAD TO KIDNEY DISEASE. AND IF YOU JUST HAVE ONE KIDNEY, THAT CAN BE FATAL.
"If we're in fact making dangerous decisions and/or not using our best judgments and end up creating the next group of folks who are going to need kidney transplants then we're really not serving the population."
RIGHT NOW THERE IS NO NATIONAL WEIGHT LIMIT FOR DONORS. BUT ABOUT 10 PERCENT OF HOSPITALS -- INCLUDING GEORGETOWN -- REQUIRE DONORS TO HAVE A BODY MASS INDEX UNDER 35.
"I was just determined to see it through and the only obstacle was totally under my control."
CHRISTINE HALL WORKED WITH GEORGETOWN DOCTORS AND NUTRITIONISTS TO LOSE THE WEIGHT.
SHE LOST 40 POUNDS IN ABOUT 6 MONTHS. HER MOTIVATION? SAVING ANOTHER PERSON'S LIFE.
"There was a match for me and he was waiting and so I was on a mission. I was eating for two. So every time I was tempted to eat something I shouldn't, I thought about him."
SHE CONTINUED DROPPING THE WEIGHT, EVEN AFTER HER SURGERY -- LOSING A TOTAL OF 85 POUNDS.
"I owe him as much as he owes me. Because he gave me the motivation to do something I've been wanting to do for years. So in a way, I feel like I got more than I gave, because he gave me the gift of good health."
