DRY, COOL WEATHER RETURNING
Weather wise our Election Day was a little bleak. Conditions will certainly improve over the next twenty four hours.
Another cold front has settled over central Florida, and it's the reason we're seeing such depressive weather. It's funneling moisture in off the Gulf which gives us the overcast skies and showers. Its counterpart - a Low pressure that now sits in the Atlantic Ocean - will track up the east coast. In return, the cold front will push through southwest Florida and usher in some drier, cooler weather for the week's end.
Will you notice? You bet, but not right away. Typically we don't feel the dry, cool air enter any particular area right after a front passes through. That air will normally arrive two days after the frontal passage.
So, here's what I expect - Wednesday will start off a little warm and humid with lows in the lower 60s. It'll also be clear to start the day, and when you factor in lights winds and the rain we picked up on Tuesday that spells morning fog. The sun will rise and being eroding all the fog soon after daybreak.
The dry, cool air mass will start trying to penetrate south Florida later in the day. As a result we'll see our skies turn mostly cloudy as the cool air hits the warm Gulf waters. These clouds will not bear any rain at all! By the end of the day our afternoon temperatures will be around 75 degrees.
Do use caution if you hit the waters. Winds will be brisk as they come from the Northwest at 15-20 knots. This will cause the seas to be around 3 to 4 feet.
Sadly, the same system that gave us our rain will continue to cruise up the east coast this week. It'll continue to strengthen, and on Thursday, sadly, it'll impact the Mid-Atlantic and New England area. That's the same region hit hard by Hurricane Sandy. Thankfully this system will not even compare to Sandy, but will add insult to injury.
They're going to see winds sustained of 25 to 35 MPH with gusts up to 50. Heavy rains will be an issue so coastal and inland flooding is a hazard, too. Along with that cold air on the backside is the perfect ingredient for heavy, wet snow.
Thus, adding insult to injury.
Make sure your family and friends back in the Northeast are away of this possible Nor'easter.
As that system pushes further away from us and strengthens, it'll pull the dry, cool air all the way into Florida. Thus, Thursday will be the day our weather truly changes. The air will be slightly cooler and more comfortable, and on top of that we'll have a lot of sunshine. Friday will be another stupendous day. The sun will be out in full force, and after starting the day off at 51 degrees we heat up to 77!
From there we see a mix of sun and clouds for the weekend. Temperatures will begin warming as well, but not too much. They'll only rise to the lower 80s.

Voters coming out to precinct 94 tell us they waited in some cases 5 and a half hours to vote.
The crowd here earlier was so irate -- they called cape police for help.
That's because there are 2 precincts, 94 and 97 -- one with hundreds in line, the other with barely anyone.
Take nats
"this is what happens when you 4 years to get ready for election."
Tempers flare in downtown cape coral -- as election lines wrap around the block.
Across cape coral -- voters waited for hours to cast a ballot even in the pouring rain.
At a polling location inside cape coral christian -- the only and only scanner went down -- forcing election crews to find a new one.
We're learned -- scanners in other polling locations jammed -- making lines even longer and forcing voters to drop their ballots in boxes.
People who waited hours -- gave up and went home.
They tell us -- they fear they won't have a say in this presidential election.
Others say -- no matter the wait -- they won't leave until they're counted.

Angie Frink, voter
1616 "I'm very frustrated. It seems like common sense that you should be able to more one machine over when there's 500 people in line."

1748 "somebody can't count but everyone in government cant. That's the problem."
DJ Sims, voter
4417 "I don't know if a cop needs to stand by the box. I want to make sure my vote counts."
Back out here live -- this line goes as far as you can see.
Some out here complained that one precinct has 2 scanners and the other only 1.
Election staff tell us they can't move them over because they're separate precincts and people are taking a long time to fill out the 4 page ballot.

IT WAS A SAN FRANCISCO SUPERVISOR'S MEETING UNLIKE ANY OTHER.A HEARING ON A PROPOSAL TO BAN PUBLIC NUDITY. THOUGH IT WOULD BE CITY-WIDE THE MEASURE IS AIMED AT THE SO-CALLED NAKED GUYS WHO HAVE BEEN LETTING IT ALL HANG OUT JUST ABOUT EVERYDAY FOR THE PAST COUPLE OF YEARS AT A PLAZA IN THE CASTRO.
"You know, we're born this way. This is, you know, this is your true expression of self."
BUT SUPERVISOR SCOTT WIENER BELIEVES ENOUGH IS ENOUGH EVEN IN A CITY KNOWN FOR TOLERANCE.
"That doesn't mean that anyone can do anything they want, anywhere at anytime under any circumstance. There are always some basic standards for our public spaces."
WIENER, WHO REPRESENTS THE CASTRO IS PROPOSING THE NUDITY BAN WITH EXCEPTIONS FOR PARADES, FAIRS AND FESTIVALS. HIS HEARING BROUGHT OUT THE PROS AND CONS.
"The idea that the body is obscene or indecent is learned behavior which I believe makes it a form of bigotry."
"It's just appalling behavior that is keeping not just me, but many other residents from the area."
NUDISTS LIKE GYPSY TAUB, A SINGLE MOTHER OF THREE, SEE IT AS A CIVIL RIGHTS ISSUE. SHE WAS DETAINED, GIVEN HER CLOTHES BACK AND ESCORTED OUT OF CITY HALL.
"In my view, if it's good enough for the Castro, it's good enough for City Hall. My constituents have to deal with it every single day."

IT'S A REAL RISK FOR ONLINE SHOPPERS: NOT KNOWING HOW SOMETHING'S GOING TO FIT, BECAUSE YOUR BODY ISN'T SHAPED LIKE THE MODELS ON THE WEBSITE.
NOW SOME SITES ARE USING PHOTOS OF REAL WOMEN TO SHOW OFF THE CLOTHES INSTEAD.
ABC'S LINSEY DAVIS REPORTS.

For Nicole madison what happened in vegas didn't exactly stay there.she
was so happy with the way she looked in this dress she dubbed a show stopper
, she sent a picture of herself wearing it. to the website where she got
it. Rent the runway is known for affording women the opportunity to *rent*
designer clothing instead of buying it.
Nicole Madison 3430 "I wanted other women my size, my height to see what I
looked like in a dress so hopefully it would inspire them to also rent the
dress."
The founders of the website say customers like madison inspired them to try
something new on for size, launching a new section of the site called
ourrunway.com where women can shop by looking at photos of real women.
JENNIFER FLEISS 2352 we think that everyday women should look and feel like
their own version of models every day
JENNIFER HYMAN 2132 "you can come to the site, enter your own height, weight
, chest size and see thousands of women exactly like you and find the dress
you think will look best on you."
Forget relying on flawless looking stick skinny models who don't have your
curves or trouble spots.ourrunway is intended to help the skeptical
shopper know the dress they love on a size 2 model will look just as good on
them, and it takes seeing the size 8, 10 or 12 on "real" women.
Ldsot 2246 "so is this the antidote for people who when they're looking for
online shopping and say I just don't know how this is going to look on me?"
JENNIFER FLEISS we think the real question is not will the dress fit, it's
will the dress look good on me
JENNIFER HYMAN2333 this is a way to take the risk out of trying a new brand
because you can see that dress on a woman like you."
More than 15 thousand customers have posted pictures.wanting to show off
their shape in their designer duds. The website doesn't just make them
models but stylists.
JENNIFER HYMAN 2400 you can see how every single woman has styled the dress
and you can also ask those women questions about how they accessorized it,
what color shoes they wore, if the dress really fit.
Just ask madison. She calls this her beyonce dress. and it fit like a
glove.
NICOLE MADISON"I just felt so beautiful that night and just so glamorous."
