WE REVEAL THE FAMILIAR VOICE BEHIND THE ALLEGATIONS.
Return to index of stories...
Monday ended up being fairly cloudy at times across Southwest Florida, but a lot of those clouds will fade today, giving way to more sunshine and warmer temperatures.
We'll start this Tuesday with mostly clear and sunny conditions; the only exception will be in the few spots we see some patchy fog during the early morning hours.
The breeze will ease up a little today, but winds will still mostly be out of the east, ranging from 5-15 with some higher gusts.
Temperatures will run slightly above average this afternoon with daytime highs mostly reaching the mid 80s.
Rain prospects look pretty low today, so aside from one or two stray showers, our First Alert LIVE Radar will show dry weather from start to finish.
Wednesday is also looking like another quiet day. We'll mention the possibility of seeing a few more clouds around as a weakening cool front fades and fizzles across North Central Florida, but this system will have little influence on our weather. A spotty shower or two may develop Wednesday afternoon, but rain chances will stay below 20%.
We'll have to wait for the next cold front to move through early this weekend for our next rain chance and dose of cool air.
Thursday and Friday look to be very pleasant, mild days with lots of sunshine. Temperatures will be close to average for this time of year with highs in the low to mid 80s and lows in the low to mid 60s.
The next cool front to head our way will approach Southwest Florida Saturday. We may see a few isolated showers as it passes through, and then we'll start to feel some changes in the air by Saturday evening.
Temperatures by Sunday morning should cool into the mid to upper 50s, and our daytime temperatures Sunday will be noticeably cooler with highs in the mid to upper 70s. The air will feel more refreshing, too, as humidity levels start to drop off.
The sunny, refreshing weather will linger into early next week, too. Afternoon temperatures should only warm to the mid to upper 70s, and overnights will cool into the 50s.

IN A NEW TWIST TO THE DAVID PETRAEUS SEX SCANDAL-- THE PENTAGON NOW SAYS
THAT THE TOP AMERICAN COMMANDER IN AFGHANISTAN, GENERAL JOHN ALLEN, IS UNDER
INVESTIGATION FOR SENDING ALLEGED IMPROPER E-MAILS TO JILL KELLY. KELLY IS
THE FLORIDA WOMAN WHO TRIGGERED THE INVESTIGATION THAT ULITIMATELY FORCED
PETRAEUS TO RESIGN. THE PENTAGON IS CURRENTLY REVIEWING BETWEEN 20 AND 30-
THOUSAND DOCUMENTS INVOLVED. ALLEN DENIES ANY WRONGDOING, AND REMAINS IN
HIS CURRENT POSITION.
LATE MONDAY, AGENTS SPENT NEARLY FIVE HOURS AT THE HOME OF PETRAEUS' FORMER
MISTRESS, PAULA BROADWELL -- LEAVING EARLY THIS MORNING WITH FILES, BOXES
AND A COMPUTER.
THIS, AFTER THE FBI TOLD ABC NEWS THEY DISCOVERED THOUSANDS OF EMAILS

SOT Lt. Col. John Nagl , U.S. Army
"IN HIS UNIVERSE, THIS MORAL FAILING IS UNACCEPTABLE, AND RENDERS HIM
UNWORTHY OF CONTINUING THIS POSITION OF RESPONSIBILITY OF THE NATION."
THE AFFAIR CAME TO LIGHT OVER THE SUMMER, AS PART OF AN FBI INVESTIGATION
THAT BEGAN AFTER JILL KELLEY RECEIVED THREATENING EMAILS SHE BELIEVED WERE
FROM BROADWELL.
.
SOT Brad Garrett
"THE FBI, THAT'S WHY THEY CALL IT A PRELIMINARY INVESTIGATION. THEY
REALIZED THEY HAD GEN PETRAEUS CAUGHT UP IN THIS IN SOME FORM OR FASHION,
AND THEN THAT REALLY CAUSED THEM TO TAKE IT ALL THE WAY THROUGH TO SEE WHAT
THEY REALLY HAD."
OFFICIALS SAY BROADWELL HAD CLASSIFIED MATERIAL ON HER COMPUTER, WHICH IS
ILLEGAL.
BUT THE FBI DOES NOT BELIEVE ANY OF IT CAME FROM PETRAEUS. NO CHARGES
HAVE BEEN FILED AGAINST HER.

THIS WEATHERCAST HAS BEEN PREPARED BY THE ABC7 WEATHER STAFF.
IT IS NOT A VERBATIM OF WHAT IS BEING SAID, BUT IS THE FORECAST FOR OUR AREA.Monday ended up being fairly cloudy at times across Southwest Florida, but a lot of those clouds will fade today, giving way to more sunshine and warmer temperatures.

SCRIPT:
movie clip: "you're still here."
"so are you."
THE WHOLE GANG IS BACK ONE MORE TIME FOR "THE TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN,
PART 2."
taylor lautner: we've put everything into every single movie but especially
this last one. and we pay tribute not only to this film but to the entire
franchise and I think the fans will appreciate that.
THE STARS GREETED THE FANS WHO LINED THE ENTRANCE TO THE THEATRES.SOME
FANS WAITED FOR DAYS.
robert pattinson: i'm still in shock from the first one but just seeing how
sweet everybody is this time--just showing their appreciation for the whole
series.
nikki reed: i'm not going to watch the movie tonight so I can go back out
because I promised all the fans that I would sign for them. so I still
haven't seen the film and i'm going to miss it again tonight! ha ha!
KELLAN LUTZ ALWAYS GIVES AN UNSUSPECTING TWI-HARD A TICKET TO THESE
PREMIERES.
kellan lutz: one lucky fan. who's it going to be?
movie clip: "what do you think?"
"i think it's perfect."
WE WATCHED MUCH OF THE CAST GROW UP IN THESE MOVIES.
KRISTEN STEWART WAS 17 IN THE FIRST ONE.
SHE'S 22 NOW.
kristen stewart: you know, this whole becoming a vampire thing is a huge
metaphor for growing up. and I think, you know, even though i'm really
young, I definitely credit "twilight" with a lot of confidence that I have.
THIS IS "TWILIGHT'S" GRAND FINALE.
BUT BECAUSE OF THE SCOPE OF THE FINAL STORY, NEW CHARACTERS COME OUT TO PLAY
.
rami malek: people love this in a way that they don't love anything else.
so you have to realize that it's in its own contained world. and life
outside this situation is real. and this is not real.
maggie grace: there's one major change from the book but I think they'll
really love it. I do. I think they'll dig it. it makes it so uch more
cinematic and it's a great twist.
