THIS WEATHERCAST HAS BEEN PREPARED BY THE ABC7 WEATHER STAFF.
IT IS NOT A VERBATIM OF WHAT IS BEING SAID, BUT IS THE FORECAST FOR OUR AREA.
Our Saturday turned out to be quite nice after the low clouds broke and revealed some sunshine across our part of the state.
It will be another cool start to our Sunday with temperatures in the upper 50s across our northern communities with lower 60s right here in town. This morning a few low clouds will develop, however fog will be unlikely as winds have remain elevated near 10mph. Just after sunrise a few clouds will give way to mostly to partly sunny skies through the afternoon.
As a result of more sunshine, temperatures will be on a warming trend with afternoon highs reaching the lower 80s with a nice breeze from the northeast around 10 to 15 mph.
A mainly dry weather pattern will hold through Tuesday with a mix of sun and clouds and temperatures running near normal with highs near 80° and lows near 60°. By mid week, we'll be tracking another weather system and this will push a cold front our way. Moisture with this front will be very limited, so while we will see a slight increase in the cloud cover, not much precipitation will be falling from these clouds as rain prospects will remain near 20%.
Once the front clears our part of the state, this will set the stage for a nice Thanksgiving holiday as a cool and dry airmass settles in across the peninsula. Afternoon temperatures will remain pleasant in the middle to upper 70s coupled with low humidity with cooler overnight lows in the middle 50s.

THEY'RE HEADING INTO DAY FIVE OF AIRSTRIKES AND ROCKET FIRE NOW-
MARTIN FLETCHER HAS THIS REPORT FROM TEL AVIV.
Return to index of stories...
Palestinians are still firing rockets from Gaza into Israel and Israel's continuing to pound Palestinian targets in Gaza.
It has been an intensive day which began with 200 separate Israeli airstrikes against Gaza, killing at least 12 Palestinians.
They flattened the prime minister's office, they destroyed the police headquarters, attacking what they call Hamas symbols of power.
All eyes now are on Israel's army and the question is will Israel's army launch a ground invasion of Gaza.
The army is poised, they're ready, they're on the border.
Tanks are there, armored personnel carriers building up.
The Israeli government has given the OK to call up up to 75-thousand reserve soldiers to join the regular army.
But this evening because of that pressure, because of the buildup and the fear of a possible ground invasion, there's a great intensity now leading to talks among Arab states with Hamas trying to persuade them to agree with Israel for a truce.
And Israel is talking to the United States government and the government of Germany.
Everyone's trying to put together a truce, even if it's only a temporary one to begin as soon as possible.
REPORTER CLOSE:
THE ALTERNATIVE TO A TRUCE IS A GROUND INVASION.
THE QUESTION IS NOW WHAT COMES FIRST?
THE GROUND INVASION OF GAZA OR A TRUCE BETWEEN HAMAS AND ISRAEL, EVEN ONLY A TEMPORARY ONE?
NOW BACK TO YOU.
