530AM~STORMWARN FORECAST-WXWALL

Monday's shaping up to be a delightful, beautiful day across Southwest Florida.

We're starting off a bit chilly this morning as a result of some cool air that started seeping in overnight; morning temperatures are starting out in the mid to upper 50s, but as we go through the day, temperatures will warm nicely into the mid to upper 70s during the afternoon.

For the most part, sunshine will dominate our sky today, and we don't expect those pesky low clouds to build in as we've seen with previous mornings. Some patchy clouds will likely develop through the afternoon, but sunshine will prevail.

A cool northerly breeze will be pretty noticeable through the day, at times gusting up to 15-20 mph. The north wind will keep some dry air flowing into Southwest Florida, which will keep humidity levels pretty comfortable for us.

It looks like we're in store for another clear, chilly night as temperatures cool into the mid to upper 50s by Tuesday morning.

With a partly cloudy sky in play through Tuesday, afternoon temperatures will warm back into the upper 70s.

The next weather system coming our way will swing through without much fanfare late Tuesday into Wednesday morning. We may see a brief uptick in cloud cover Tuesday afternoon through Tuesday night, but that's about it. Think of this system as just a reinforcing shot of cool, dry air. Humidity will start dropping through the day Wednesday, and temperatures won't be too far behind.

Temperatures Wednesday afternoon will warm comfortably into the mid to upper 70s, and by Wednesday night, the chill returns across Southwest Florida as temperatures fall back into the low to mid 50s.

Thanksgiving Day will be quite lovely. Conditions will be a little cool early in the morning, but by the afternoon, daytime highs will climb into the mid 70s.

For those planning to hit the stores for some Black Friday deals, Friday's forecast also looks good. We'll enjoy sunny, cool and refreshing weather with highs in the upper 70s and no chance of rain. Return to index of stories...

PALESTINIAN AUTHORITIES SAY 11 DIED AFTER A STRIKE ON THIS HOUSE.

ISRAEL SAID THE TARGET WAS A HAMAS MILITANT.

THEY BLAMED HAMAS FOR THE DOZENS OF DEATHS SINCE THE VIOLENCE STARTED.

THERE HAS BEEN SOME MUCH BLOODSHED ALREADY, AND DIPLOMATS ARE WORKING

TOWARDS A CEASEFIRE.

Amanpour: It is obviously incredibly intense. Despite the back and forth

though we do get the impression that huge amount of effort is being made to

try and get a cease-fire.

PRESIDENT OBAMA HAS BEEN IN CONTACT WITH LEADERS IN THE REGION --- ALSO

WORKING TO DE-ESCALATE THE VIOLENCE.

BUT HE EXPRESSED UNWAVERING SUPPORT FOR ISRAEL.

We are fully supportive of Israel's right to defend itself from missiles

landing on people's homes and workplaces and potentially killing civilians.

And we will continue to support Israel's right to defend itself.

DOZENS OF MISSILES CONTINUE TO BE LAUNCHED AT ISRAEL

FORCING FAMILIES INTO SHELTERS.

MEANWHILE, ISRAELI PRIME MINISTER BENJAMIN NETANYAHU SAID HIS GOVERNMENT IS

PREPARING TO RAMP UP MILITARY OPERATIONS.

STORMWARN FORECAST-WX WALL

THIS WEATHERCAST HAS BEEN PREPARED BY THE ABC7 WEATHER STAFF.

IT IS NOT A VERBATIM OF WHAT IS BEING SAID, BUT IS THE FORECAST FOR OUR AREA.Monday's shaping up to be a delightful, beautiful day across Southwest Florida.
