"A cooler and less humid day"
Our streak of 80 degree weather has finally come to an end as a cold front will bring cooler and drier conditions starting today. The change in our weather will be quite noticeable when you step outside this morning with temperatures 15 degrees cooler compared to yesterday morning.
Expect readings near 50 degrees here in town, while inland and northern cool spots will be waking up in the middle to upper 40s. Through the day we'll see a good mix of sun and clouds with afternoon highs in the lower 70s, but with a cool breeze out of the northeast between 10-15 mph, it will feel even cooler.
This evening, skies will stay partly cloudy while overnight lows settle into the middle 50s here in town, while our inland communities drop into the upper 40s.
Through the weekend high pressure to our north will keep our weather dry and temperatures will begin to moderate fairly quickly into the upper 70s. As this front gets hung up across the Florida Straits, more clouds than sun will remain in the forecast for Saturday and Sunday as an easterly wind sweeps a bit of moisture off the Atlantic and across the peninsula.
Next week, a mainly dry pattern will stay in place with highs in the 70s and lows in the 50s

THIS WEATHERCAST HAS BEEN PREPARED BY THE ABC7 WEATHER STAFF.
IT IS NOT A VERBATIM OF WHAT IS BEING SAID, BUT IS THE FORECAST FOR OUR AREA.
